«Mikey?» Mikey x Reader

" You know, if i was your boyfriend I'd pepper you with kisses and gifts and spoil you so bad" Mikey murmurs under his breath.

"What?" Y/n turns over to Mikey, his eyes still glued onto the TV .

"Mikey?" Y/n whispers wiping the tears from their face using their sleeve.

"nothing" Mikey blurts out.

"Mikes?"

"I can't do this anymore!" He snaps. "You deserve someone who values you Y/n! That dickhead Derick only wants you for fun. You're the most breath-taking person I've ever met, I can't see you getting hurt like this. Not anymore. Not when I-" Mikey suddenly cuts off, his knees up by his chest and his face dug deep in his hands.

"Not when you?" they ask, voice trembling.

"I don't see you as a friend anymore" The boy sighs fiddling with his hands. "I see you as something else."

They suddenly glance at each other, pure love filling the air around them.

Y/n grabs his collar and pulls his face inching from their own.

He opens his mouth with the intention to say something polite, but what comes out is "You look like someone I'd very much like to kiss"

They smirk and they both lean in matching their lips. This kiss wasn't like any other kiss Y/n had. This one actually meant something.

After a few minutes they pull away, grasping for air, still in one another's embrace, his hands holding their cheek and their hands wrapped around his neck.

"I can't remember the last time i did this with someone" Mikey laughs pushing his glasses further up his nose.

"I love you Mikey" they say before jumping on top of Mikey, stradling him with their thighs.

"I love you too" he answers, his hands instantly landing on top of their back, fingertips pressing under their top drawing gentle circles against the strip of bare skin making them break the kiss with a gasp before tugging onto the hem of his shirt.

"I'm never going to leave you Mikey, you'll never have to suffer by yourself again, I promise" Y/n mutters as they both smile into the kiss.
