Nobody's POV
The group jumped and quickly spun around as they locked eyes with the strawberry-blonde boy. The same boy they had laughed at, fought with, and bonded with for all of these years...
but this wasn't that boy
This boy was the same at first glance, but if you looked closer you could see the blood mixed in his fluffy hair, the sleek, black crown that now sat perfectly atop his head designed with metallic roses and thorns, the blood red irises, the bedrock sword that now sits holstered at his hip
the devilish gleam in his eye...
No, this boy was very, very different.
Silence spreads through the room, no one moves, no one speaks, no one breathes.
The quiet is only broken by loud lightning and thunder, that is until the boy speaks with a wide smile on his face,
"What? Cat got your tongue?"
There was another beat of silence before Tubbo responded, "T-Tommy?"
"That's my name," the god says with another sinister smile. He continues, "I do go by many names though, perhaps you would enjoy some of my other ones more...?"
Silence
Tommy chuckles and continues with a playful, contemplative look on his face,
"Tommy, Tom, Thomas, Anubis, Mars..." he shoots a look at Techno before continuing,
"... the Blood God?"
Techno's eyes widened in surprise as his face portrayed more emotion than anyone had ever seen him have. Tommy laughs at the sight and adds on,
"That's right, Techno! Thanks for that by the way, your sacrifices have given me more power then you could ever imagine... it's funny to think about really... that the whole time you were just giving power to your little 'brother'."
Tommy said the word brother with such distaste, but there was also a hint of something else... sorrow perhaps? Tommy mumbles as he says more quietly, "if you could even call me that.."
However, just as soon as the vulnerability appears, it is gone... replaced once again with that bright, but sinister smile that sent chills down everyone's spines. His voice is full of malice and humor as he speaks again...
"Or you could always go with my personal favorite of course..." his eyes lit up with the same blood red glow they had seen not less than two hours ago,
"The God of Death" his smile drops as he stares at them with an evil amusement. Tubbo's breath catches and everyone stumbles back. The sight of Tommy makes everyone fear for their lives, or more than that....
fear for their deaths.
There is so much violence and power behind that gaze, along with suffering and pain that scarred over and morphed into something far stronger.
But then it's gone.... then the eyes have returned to their dull state, still blood red, but not glowing or as threatening and evil. His face returns to that playful smirk and he leans back against a book shelf obviously satisfied with himself.
"So, how'd you like my story? Rather annoying isn't it? To have your whole life planned out for you without a say in the matter? That's not even regarding the whole final battle shit... 'my blood will be your salvation'" he mocks, "yeah, yeah... bunch of bullshit if you ask me."
Silence once again settles, Tommy scoffs before in a slightly annoyed tone says, "As much as I do enjoy hearing myself talk, talking to myself makes for a rather boring conversation, wouldn't you say?"
