Chapter 8

(Amanda Waller pov)
*Flashback to a meeting she had*

I walk into the meeting room with the Generals and higher-ups of the country."I have new information on the Amber project." I say as I set files down on the head of the table. "Care to explain what explains what the information is?" Someone said I looked toward the woman who said that "Yes I would." I grab a remote from the table and it shows a picture of the target. "Last year we weren't the only ones working on this project, turn's out we had an imposter gathering information on the machine we made. Since our first try didn't work out as it was planned we can't let them open this gateway or the human race will go down in flames. We're gonna need to send team x to get back some blueprints and a stone we call a pesimess (Made up name).

The pesimess is a stone we found floating around space a couple of months after the enchantress was taken down. I
Which is also a major and bigger energy source for that other machine. We can send the team to retrieve the items and we can end this quicker and close down the small gate before a much bigger one can be unfolded. We have located the man rumored to be somehow auctioning the stone and still doing research on who has the blueprints and how they got them."

"I have a question." One of the generals from the table said, "You can speak." "Why did you really include the Joker in this squad if anything he might be against us in this." He said. "We don't have a lot on the Joker's history but we do know that he was in the same asylum (Y/n) was in, he may be crazy but he's incredibly smart for a criminal that makes him dangerous and we're gonna need dangerous for this mission. We'll be giving them the things they need for the mission, thank you all for your time let's disassemble."

*Present*
(Amanda pov)

Standing in front of a board with the rest of the team. I explain to them that I need them to find and obtain the stone from the auction. "We need you all in disguise if anything goes wrong we'll need you to fight your way out and we will send a chopper to pick you up. Any questions." ".......good you will be training and later meeting your other squad member." I walk out of the room to take care of other business.

(Y/n pov)

After Waller explained the plan I walked over to a guard to ask where the showers were once he told me I got some plainclothes from one of the female guards and headed for the showers.

*Time Skip*

I come out feeling refreshed from my shower and go to sit with the others.  I sit next to Diablo make my phone appear from the shadows, "Ay I got a question everyone wants to know." He said to me "Well what's your question flamer?" "Were those wolves we seen yours and if they were what happened to them." A gasp of realization came out of my mouth as I stood walking toward a wall. "Thank you so much for reminding me about that." I put my hands out to the darkest corner of the wall making it darker and wider than it was before. Coming out of the wall was two huge wolves on the white one black.

"Holy shit, what the hell did you do!?" Boomerang said moving much farther away from me so did  the others other then Quin and Katana. Still, Katana had her sword up. Feeling threatened Shadow and Ghost started to growled ready to attack anyone in the room. "Oh stop being like that, and put that thing down please," I said to Katana. She looked at me and slowly put down the sword, hearing my voice Shadow and Ghost turn their heads come over to stand in front of me as if I needed protection.

"Boys these are friends stand down and sit," I said in a firm voice they both sat down as I start to walk back over to the couch while they follow me and sit at my feet. Flamer inches away slowly from the spot he had been in next to me. The whole room is in dead silence while everyone stares at me. "....Sooo what you guys looking at?" "What do you mean what are we looking at you just pulled to devil dogs out of a freakin portal!" Dead shot yelled, "I agree, what kinda breed are even are they?" Boomerang said.

"They are wolves that's all you need to know and they're mine, they also won't hurt .... you unless I ask them to." Harley Walked over and sat next to me and started petting the huge wolves. "Oh my God, they're so cute and deadly." She said in a baby voice. "See Quin likes them and look at shadow he seems to like flamer here." Pointing out how Shadow was laying right beside his feet. "Harley doesn't count she's crazy." Dead shot said.

"Whatever you say, hotshot," I say sarcastically with a small smile on my face. "How come there so full of energy of being in there so long it when it's nothing but darkness and no food, from that weird portal?" Flamer asked me. "When living things go in I can manipulate the shadows to put them in a sort of hypersleep plus.... time is different when your just sitting there," I explained

Waller walked in looking around the room, "We got all your things packed everyone, we will be sending you to your other teammate he already heard of the plans and he has the reinforcements to help. We're sending you in a chopper."

She looked at Harley petting a wolf while El Diablo had on at his feet "Can someone tell me how two wolves suddenly appeared in my facility?" They all quickly pointed towards me. "Well that was very mature of you guys," Y/n said chucking. "Just get your things and head for the chopper we will be keeping in contact with you."
