Dragon Isle

The Brand New start

Alvin-
It wasn't long before our Huts were ready to be moved in to. So far the young lad seemed to be a perfect leader, taking command of the Guards while I can relax. From what I've been hearing, the Guards respect the young boy as well.
"Alvin! There's a wrecked Ship off the northwest side of the island! Two bodies have washed up!" I sighed and stood up.
"Can't ye see I was enjoying a little relaxation?!" I scolded the guard and went to find Hiccup.
Hiccup-
I was sitting down to a nice little meal when Alvin and a guard approached.
"Howdy Gentlemen, How can I be of assistance?" I asked with a soft smile. I know the guards like my leadership style, I'm not one to throw people overboard like Dagur.
"Chief, this guard has informed me of some News. Scouts had discovered a wrecked ship and two bodies washed up onto shore." Alvin spoke with irritation, sneaking a quick angry glance at the guard next to him. I stood up and whistled for Toothless. A few seconds later, the sleek black dragon bounded his way up to the hut.
"Hey Buddy, we need to go check on something! Come on!" I informed the dragon as we took off. It wasn't long before we could see the shipwreck. It was bad, and the Crest was unknown to us. All of the Soldiers on board appeared dead from the sky. As we slowly defended, a big bald headed guy with two green swords exited the ship. A look of surprise was plastered to his face as we landed.
"Viggo! Get out here!" The bald guy called out. At the sound of his name, a shorter guy wearing black leather armor, steel shoulder armor, black trousers came out.
"What is it Ryker?" The man asked, only then he caught sight of Toothless. "A Gods damned Night Fury!" He shouted.
"Is everyone here ok?" I asked wearily, unsure if I could trust these two.
"A soldier of mine had notified me of your Wreck. Unfortunately, it looks like you both are injured. Please, come and rest up... But you mustn't hurt any dragons while your here." I invited the two men and they began to follow toothless and I through the woods.
"Toothless, what do you think?" I asked the offspring of lightning and death.
"I don't trust them Hiccup... If they try anything, let me know... I'd gladly barbecue them..." Toothless happily stated. I chucked softly as we entered the small village.

As we entered the village, Alvin approached with two guards in tow. He noticed the two men behind me and glanced down to me. "Alvin, please come with our guests and I to the Healer's hut. Bjorn will need to check these two over." I invited and Alvin nodded. As we began walking, one of the two men spoke up. 

"This place is Relatively new... Did you build this place?" The shorter one known as Viggo asked. I noticed a few off duty guards looking at us with caution, which is reasonable after the Coup on their original island.

"Yes Viggo, Our village is quite new. In fact I wish to extend an offer to you. I do hope that you will stay to see what life will be like here on Dragon Isle. If you wish to leave after being examined by our healer, then you are free to go." I smiled softly as I spoke as we walked up three steps to the nearest hut. I then knocked on the door only for Bjorn to answer. 

"Just the Viking I wanted to see!" I greeted Bjorn with a cheery laugh. Bjorn had noticed the two behind Alvin and I and ushered us inside."What Can I do for ya chief?" Bjorn asked as he closed the door behind him. He then shoved the brothers into his examination room, slamming the door behind him. I chuckled as Alvin rolled his eyes at Bjorn's actions. As Alvin and I helped ourselves to some of Bjorn's tea, the familiar screech of a Nadder sounded with a thud on the roof along with some soft footsteps.

"Chief, yer Lass is here" Alvin chuckled as I stood up with a smile and excused myself from the building. As I exited, a certain blonde Valkyrie leapt from the building and landed before me with a roll. 

"Good afternoon m'lady, how was your scouting mission?" I asked as I pulled her into my warm embrace. She blushed softly before hitting my in the arm with a playful scowl, then her expression turned to one of curiosity as Viggo, Ryker and Alvin exit Bjorn's hut.

"M'lady, This is Viggo and his brother Ryker. Gentlemen,  this is the mightiest shield maiden in Midgard. Ryker seemed to look slightly annoyed while Viggo had a look of understanding which had thrown me off. Viggo approached with a slight smile and gestured for me to follow. I nodded 'yes' to Viggo and turned to Astrid.

"M'lady, I am going to talk to Viggo. I will explain everything when I get back." Astrid smiled softly and kissed my cheek, then she began to walk to her house with Stormfly in tow. I then looked to Viggo as Alvin and Ryker left. He chuckled which caught my attention. 

"Chief, have you played Taces and Talons?" Viggo asked. Maces and Talons is a game for future leaders to test their tactical knowledge during a time of crisis, of course I played it on Berk before Stoick changed. I nodded and lead him to the Great Hall with Toothless bounding along like a happy puppy dog.
