"How do you understand if someone in a demigod?"
Annabeth: Well- it's kinda complicated...
Me: I know... that's why I asked you?
Katie: there's always that one weird thing happening to them, so that's there...
Travis: yeah, like we met a mortal the other day- well, we thought he was a mortal... the grass was standing up wherever he walked. It wasn't much, but it was unusual, so yeah.
Me: what if it's a child of Hypnos or something? or Hygeia? there's not much you can see with that...
Percy: oh yes, there is... me and Annabeth had suspected somebody to be a demigod one time, but he was a child of Hypnos and we both fell asleep while we tried talking to him, and when we woke up- he was gone...
Me: what if you don't suspect anybody before?
Piper: well, that is really unexpected. It doesn't usually happen, the gods warn us most of the time if that is the case.
Me: well, what if-
Katie: honey, a thousand things can be asked if you start with what if...
Me: but-
Travis: my girlfriend is right, we have monsters to fight.
Me: but you-
