Camp Half-Blood one-shots

The Stolls

This one-shot is Trinity giving Camp Half-Blood it's daily news announcement when Percy and Annabeth are on a quest.   

It's Trinity Burke back at it again. (I know there was a slight change in between, but meh) For today, I rushed into the big house. Afraid of being late for the daily announcements.

"Sorry for the late announcement, everybody!" I spoke into the mic. I heard some small cheers from the campers, "For today's report, I will need to use my serious business voice," I said and cleared my throat for a long time.

"now" I continued, "Yesterday, we have gotten an update from Percy and Annabeth," I said. The camp was quiet, everybody was holding their breaths. And frankly, so was I.

"They have managed to locate the golden fleece once again, and just in time, because Thalia's tree is still withering, and Thalia is getting sicker by the day," I said, I could hear tiny cheers,

"now that we have the serious news out the way, I just wanted to warn you to be on your toes, because my brothers are going on a prank spree, especially you, Katie. Watch what you're eating," I said, people were laughing outside. 

"I also wanted Chiron to look out after the Athena cabin, because let's say...The Stoll's found a baby spider in the Hermes cabin," I said, lowering my voice a little. "I also wanted to apologise on the behalf of the Stoll's for the bug prank where they destroyed half the crops,"

Everybody's laughs stopped, 

"Stolls!!!!!!" Katie screamed, guess they didn't know about that yet?

"oof, sorry for that, Travis and Connor," I apologised, 

"Anyways, make sure to get a date soon for the prom coming up in three weeks, hosted by the Aphrodite kids, I'm not going, but Travis and Katie definitely are," I said, the camp burst into laughter once again. 

"Now, another reminder that the weekly competition for this week of August will be hosted by the hunters of Artemis, who will visit for three weeks, they will be arriving tomorrow. Make sure you polish your archery skills," I said, the appolo kids cheered. The ares kids groaned,

"and make sure to stay out of the fighting arena, Clarisse has just lost the Capture of flag game this week, I'm looking right at you, Piper," I said, since the daughter of Aphrodite had helped her cabin win the flag.

"For dinner today, there will be... ooh there will be vegetable soup, and oh, umm...There was supposed to be vegetable soup, but now it's just sandwiches, because of the bug thing..." I said, people started chattering outside,

"The temperature today will be...28 degrees celsius, and Zeus is especially angry, so I would grab my raincoat, but then again, Camp Half-Blood has its border thingy, with help from Athena,"

"Trinity!" Chiron called,

"Sorry Chiron, so it's made by...the goddess of warcraft and battle strategy, that better?" I asked him, he nodded,

"So, sorry for that break, I'm still alive, I was saying it's made by the goddess of warcraft and battle strategy,"

"and lastly, Stolls," I said again, "Putting dye into my shampoo won't help for revenge, because I can see you from here!" I yelled into the mic, everybody laughed, and I stepped away from the mic.

"That's the news for today, I need a tagline, don't I? okay, so" I thought, "that's all the news for today, be back for more tomorrow? nah, that doesn't work, hmm...That's all the news from Trinity Burke? yeah, okay so that's my tagline. That's all the news from Trinity Burke, b-bye," I said, and stepped off the podium,

"Stolls, get your butts over here right now!!!" Katie screamed again, guess she didn't know about the coloured soap prank yet,

just when I was walking, I felt something over my head, everybody was staring atme. I looked up and saw that a god had claimed me. There was a shoe with wings on it. I was a daughter of Hermes.
