Chapter 4

Sometime in the night, I woke up to Mia talking. Henry’s head was still on by back, I slowly crept out and walked over to Mia. She was still sleeping. That’s when I realized, she’s sleep talking, that reminded me of Lexie, and the way she would come randomly into my room in the middle of the night and say, ‘Amanda, I need a drink.’, then she would walk back into her room. Amanda is our younger sister. She’s 19, 5.0, with mid-length blonde hair with a bit of purple dyed into it, and her eyes are brown. She doesn’t live with Lexie and I, she lives with her fiancé Jack. Jack has short red hair, green eyes, and he is 5.7. Amanda and Jack have been dating since 9th grade, then just a few months ago, Jack asked her to marry him when he took her out on a date to the movies. When he dropped her off, he proposed and she said yes.
    I stopped daydreaming and focused back on Mia. She kept on saying, “ Don’t hurt them, what did they do.”. I wasn’t sure what she was talking about, it was probably a bad dream. I walked over to where Tiffany was sleeping a few feet away from where Mia was sleeping. I nudged Tiffany’s leg and she woke up right away, “What’s wrong Ella?”, she asked in a tired voice. I wasn’t sure how to tell her Mia was having a nightmare. I tried to tell her by making a low bark. It didn’t come out low, it was squeaky, and loud! Henry woke up and panicked until he saw me, I’m thinking because of my weird bark. “Ella, quiet.”, Tiffany whispered, “Your going to wake Mia.”. ‘Yes!” I thought. I nodded, then looked from Tiffany to Mia. “Yes, I love Mia too.”. I shook my head. That’s when I realized Henry was standing beside me. “I need you to help me. Can you  go behind Tiffany and nudge her over to Mia.”. Henry nodded. 
    He walked over behind Tiffany and I gently grabbed Tiffany’s hand and took her over to where Mia was. That’s when she heard Mia sleep talking, “That’s what you wanted me to do, isn’t it. Part of me thinks you’re part human.” She chuckled to herself and then woke Mia up. Tiffany asked Mia what was wrong. “I was having a dream that Ella and Henry were being tooken away by a bad man, it was a pound person.”. “That makes sense.”  Tiffany told Mia as she tucked her back in. Mia quickly fell asleep. Tiffany, Henry, and I went back to our sleeping places, and we all fell back asleep.
