Chapter 12

Evelyn left and Mason took me back to the to crate room. He didn't put me in though. He just tied the leash to a stake in the ground.

I looked at him, puzzled. I wasn't sure what was happening.

Mason left and then came back a few minutes later with a woman with blonde hair and she was wearing all black. On her arm, there was a tattoo of a doberman.

"Here she is. Her name is Ella.", Mason told the woman.

She walked over to me and I growled. "Take the muzzle off.", She instructed Mason.

He looked at her like she was an alien, which I bet she was. "She bit Evelyn a little bit ago. I dont think that's a good idea.", Mason tried to explain

"Take the muzzle off.", she said again

Mason looked at me growling and back to the woman. "Are you sure Cassandra?", Mason asked

Cassandra nods. "Positive.", she replied

Mason stepped over to me. "Ok.", he said. He unbuckled the muzzle and slipped it off of my head.

My growls intensified. I threw in a mark and snap here and there.

"Now the leash Mason. Untie it.", Cassandra demanded and Mason's eyebrows shot up

"I can't do that!", Mason said worriedly.

"You can and you will. Untie it... Now.", she said.

I was pulling against the leash and the stake. My growl was loud and all of the dogs watched us. I could feel Henry looking at me.

Mason walked to the leash and untied it. He kept a tight hold on the leash so I couldn't reach her.

"Drop the leash Mason.", she said

"But if I do she'll--", Mason began but was cut off

"Drop the damn leash Mason!", she roared

Mason jumped and the leash fell from his hand.

I took this as my chance. I used all of the strength I had I me to push off with my back legs. My body slammed into hers and she fell into the wall with a groan. I jumped up and was about 3 feet away from her. I growled and walked toward her slowly like a lion does its prey.

"Fierce dog you've got there.", Cassandra complimented

"You should feel her bite. Hurts like hell.", Evelyn walked in

Cassandra smirked. "Think she can beat Roco?", she asked.

"We've never had a dog like her before. I'm confident she can.", Evelyn replied

Mason's eyes widened. "Not Rocco!", he yelled.

Evelyn and Cassandra looked at him. "Falling for this pathetic dog are you?", Cassandra snickered.

Mason was holding my leash so I didn't attack again.

I growled once more.

"The fight is tomorrow night.", Evelyn said before she and Cassandra left the room
