Mason walked me through part of the house that I'd never seen before. There were many more men than I ever imagined. I thought there were maybe just 5 or 6, but I was wrong. Very wrong. I counted at least 264 of them throughout the place I walled past. I could still smell the fear on Mason.
Mason then stopped by a set of double doors. He took out a muzzle and I let out a low growl. He clipped it in his belt loop and let it hang there. He opened the door and led me inside.
The room was big and there were empty seats everywhere except for in the middle. There was a large space surrounded by a metal and wired gate that was at least 10 feet high.
Mason walked me to the enclosed space and stood beside me.
I wasn't really sure what was going on, but I could smell dogs and people had been in here. I heard footsteps coming toward us and saw a woman with a black dress, black boots with heels, and fishnet sleeves and tights.
She walked into the area we were in and stopped in front of Mason
"This must be Ella.", the lady said.
Mason nods. "Yes, this is Ella."
"Pretty dog.", she looked at me and held her hand out to lift my head so she could see it better.
I pulled my head out of her grasp and growled at her as a warning.
She just laughed and did the same thing as she did before. Apparently she didn't get it.
I moved my head back and then bit her hand, hard.
The lady pulled her hand away from me and held it close to her. There was blood from where I pierced her skin.
"Evelyn! Are you alright? Here, take this bandage.", Mason said to her and gave her a bandage wrap.
Evelyn took the bandage and wrapped her hand in it.
I growled at her again, but the next thing I knew, Mason had slipped the muzzle over my nose and mouth.
"She's strong too. Hard bite.", Evelyn said, stepping closer to me once the muzzle was on. "I think she's what we've been looking for."
I wasn't sure what this meant, but I was sure I'd find out soon.
