Moonlight Sonata

I hear the moon as it moves through the sky
An endless song of forever
As the wind, so crisp, so dry
Glance at me and fix my temper

I hear the moon as the stars shine bright
A vast breathtaking sight
As I enjoy the cold summer night
That feels so all right

Even if I am blind
I am still trying to find
The lost moonlight sonata
I heard while I was enjoying my pasta

That was a precious date to me
A dinner date with my family
A time when they announced we've had a baby
A reason why she visited the hospital lately

I hear the moon as I hear the child
Liqour so crisp, so mild
A party tribute to the new child
The lost moonlight sonata
