𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘁. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐

Alastair looks up at the forest. The trees are so large it's almost like a forest for giants. Alastair gets up and dusts himself off as he looks at the foggy forest and sees a trail leading farther into the forest. Alastair adjusts His bucket hat and starts to walk the trail.

"This forest is huge...I wonder why mom didn't want me coming here."  after a while of walking and exploring the beautiful trees, bushes, and flowers Alastair decided that It was time to go home before his mother noticed, but when He turned around to follow the path back home he had realized.

"W-what?! Where did the path go?!"
Alastair says to himself In shocked he was scared wondering how he was gonna get home now. by morning he was sure his mother Was gonna notice he was gone. Alastair looked around and it seemed Like the trees where getting bigger "What type of forest is this....?" Alastair wish he would have listened to his mother.

Alastair Decided to walk hopefully finding at least some way out of the forest until he realized somethings about the trees they turned purple kinda like a enchanted tree while looking at how the trees changed he saw a girl with blond Hair pass by him "huh? Hey girl!" The girl didn't stop Running so Alastair decided to run after Her "excuse Me! Hey!" Finally the girl stopped and Looked at Alastair "what do you want boy?...wait..Your a human?..." the girl says looking at Alastair shocked.

Alastair was taking some deep breaths Cause Of all the running "yes I'm a human what else am I supposed to be?." Alastair says looking at the blonde girl, she seemed to have Multi colored flowers in her hair and green horns "well it's rare to see humans In these woods. What's your name?"
The Blonde girl says looking at Alastair "I'm Alastair. Alastair Flores" Alastair says looking at the girl introducing himself, he wondered what she meant by 'these woods'

"Well nice to meet you Alastair. I'm Florence funny how we have similar names, What brings you to these woods anyways?"  Florence says looking at  Alastair "Well.." Alastair tells everything to Florence about how he got there and how he disobeyed His own mother. "Well I don't blame you were very curious but Tell you what, I'll help you get home" Florence says to Alastair smiling, "W-wait Really?!" Alastair says smiling back to Florence "Of course!"

Florence and Alastair Started walking, He hopes they find some place for help. Florence didn't know the woods by heart but she did know that there will be Some Bars and villages of many species. Alastair talked to Florence about many things like How his mother and Him got the house and how he found the gate and things until They heard a loud growl.

It sounded like the growl he had Heard while first discovering the gate. "What was that?...." Florence says looking at Alastair a little scared "No idea...But whatever it is it doesn't sound friendly." Then the two of them heard a snap like a tree branch Cracking.

They both turned around slowly looking at a hideous monster. He looked like a human But we had blood on him and black hair wearing a white mask his face looked somewhat burnt. Florence and Alastair looked at The boy with fear.
