Cook's POV

" Alright let's solve this right now. Freddie loves you. Cook loves you. The past me loved you.  Two boys one girl. Its an insolveable equation unless you choose" JJ says

" Or if I do " I say tears welling in my face right before Effy was about to vocalize her choice.

" what do you mean Cook? " JJ asks

But Alina knows she looks at me and winks

"Freddie I love you. I've loved you for years. I fucking love like I've never loved anybody before. " I say

" I know you love me you wanker. But I'm trying to know who Effy chooses " Freddie says

" Goddamn it you idiot he's in love with you" Alina blurts out

I walk towards Freddie and grab the back of his head running my fingers through his stupid hair

" So who do you choose?" I say" or better yet can I kiss you?"

Effy looks at Freddie and points to him. I know Effy chooses Freddie but that doesn't matter to me right now.

" Cook you have to leave " Freddie says.

" Fuck you all." I say

Alina and JJ follow me out. Running towards the docks.

" You people all think I'm scum" I say rubbing tears from my face.

" No we love you. I came all this way. I run all the way across Bristol looking for you. I asked every shop owner. I asked every pub owner. Every strip club. Every library. I screamed and cried. I drug Freddie out here to see you. Freddie wasn't even gonna come if it wasn't for Effy. We came because we love you. We're practically brother and sister" Alina says

" what if I stay here to be with my dad" I say

" I don't think that would be a good idea. My mum doesn't want to lose the only son she's ever had. Her dulce niño. There are people who love you and care about you at home. Who would die if anything happened to you" Alina continues

" So what you think you're better than my dad? " I say and I can't hold back the tears anymore

" No but you are. You're better than someone who runs away from people who love them ; who need them" JJ says

" There will always be people who love you and I know you're the last person to let the people you love down. So what if some angsty teen girl doesn't want you. So what if some lifeless skater guy doesn't want you. We want you. We need you. And there's a million fucking people who want you. Fuck those two " Alina finally says as she puts her arm around me

We walk off to the nearest store. We buy all the candy we can afford and strawberry soda.

" Nothing treats a heartbreak like a sugar rush " Alina says laughing. She loved sugar rushes pastries , candy, chips, soda all of it.

Freddie's POV

" What was that all about?The chase ? What the fuck is wrong with you ? You screwy bitch" I yell overwhelmed with rage I just yell

" I'm sorry I love you Freddie" Effy says

I make my way to kiss her. But  can't atop thinking about Cook. About what he said. I was sure he was straight he was way to sexually active and braggy that had he fucked men the whole of Bristol would've known by now. Effy kisses me well I kiss her and almost ready to fuck her . I interrupt

" Knowing you had you fucked men all of Bristol would know. " I say jokingly
