Chapter 15

Its was around 3 am when he entered the apartment with his jacket swung over his shoulder, hair all messy, the smell of alcohol reeking off of him. He quietly opened the door before taking off his shoes and hanging up his jacket before slowing walk through the apartment. 

*click*

Blaine spun around and was faced with Kurt sat in the chair with the lamp showing his sleepy state with a mug of semi-warm coffee in his hands.

"where have you been?" Kurt asks looking up with a furious expression on his face.

"I told you, people at work went out for a drink to celebrate Johns promotion at work" Blaine replies before sitting on the seat opposite kurt.

"Yes, and you told me you would be home before 12, it 3" Kurt raised an eyebrow as in asking 'what are you going to say to that?'

"I'm sorry babe, we got caught up," Blaine says going to reach out to Kurt but suddenly Kurt stood up and walked to the kitchen doorway that was attached to the living room.

"Don't call me 'Babe', you told me you would be back before 12 and what did I get at 12 a text message and who did that belong to? Alex, he sent me a photo of you in between two have the time of your life!" Kurt shouted before storming into the kitchen and Blaine could hear a mug shatter in the sink.

Blaine rushed into the kitchen trying to explain himself but he sees Kurt curled up in a ball sobbing into his knees. Blaine sits next to him and tries to put an arm around his lover's shoulder but Kurt pulls away and sobs.

"Don't touch me" Kurt sobs out, before moving to the other side of the kitchen.

"Baby, please let me explain" 

"No! You lied to me and you didn't try to text me. Do you know how worried I was?! You've betrayed my trust!" Kurt was now stood and shaky legs shouting down at Blaine. 

"Were done" they were the last words spoken before Kurt walks out the kitchen into the bedroom. Blaine could hear his lov- ex-lovers sobs all through the apartment before curling up and the couch teary-eyed and falling asleep.

"AND CUT!" Artie shouts before turning back to his team.

Blaine sits up on the couch to see Kurt walk through the set and settles himself down on Blaine lap, nuzzling himself into Blaine's chest.

"You okay, sweetheart?" Blaine asks while rubbing southing circles on kurt's lower back, feeling his shirt beginning to cling to his chest.

"Y-yeah, it just felt so real" Kurt whispers looking into Blaine's eyes before feeling a kiss placed on his cheeks, then his nose finishing with his lips.

"Okay, that was great guys, you can head home and well see you on Monday," Artie says before wheeling off the set.

"come on honey, let's go home" Blaine stands up, helps Kurt before they walk to Blaine's car and head to Kurt apartment. The second they enter Kurt takes off his shoes and jacket before walking into the kitchen and making a glass of water for him and Blaine before heading to the bedroom seeing Blaine just coming out the en-suite bathroom in just some plaid pyjama pants. Kurt passes Blaine the water before doing his night routine and changing into a pair of sweat pants and one of Blaine's hoodies before joining Blaine under the silk sheets.

"Goodnight sweetie" Blaine whispers before pulling Kurt into his chest.

"Night" Kurt wipers sleepily before settling in Blaine's chest. 

Blaine bends down and places a feather-light kiss on his lover's forehead before settling down into the mattress. Kurt falls asleep with a light smile on his face and the trace of Blaine's lips on his forehead.
