Chapter 6

A/N : hey everyone Knightmare here and welcome back to Undead Devil. Hope you're all enjoying the story so far, I'm trying my best to make a better story than the cringe fest that was the original one. Anyway, let's jump into it.

(Y/N) POV morning

I suddenly jumped awake from yet another nightmare of mine made by the eye of Nightmares. This cursed eye always finds a way to mess with my sleep. Wish I could just rip it off of my eye socket but even if I do, it'll just grow back. I sighed and wanted to get off of the bed but then I felt something clinging into my hand. I looked to see that it was Sarah who had my arm in between her breasts. I tried to remove my hand but she clinged to it even more. She then started talking in her sleep, guess somethings never change, she talked in her sleep when we were kids as well, I can remember that she always wanted more cookies. But this time, it wasn't about cookies or anything pleasant. I could tell just from the look on her face and her heavy breathing.

Sarah : (Y/N)......don't leave me....please.

Why is she-? Whatever it is.......it's making me feel really concerned. I need to find out what she's seeing in her nightmare. I just laid down again and put my forehead against hers. Let's hope I remember what Morpheous and Phobetor taught me.

3rd person POV

The young demon's soul was then taken into Sarah's "dream" but he saw nothing but darkness around him. He then took a look at his body and saw that he wasn't in his human form but in his demonic form.

(Y/N) : I have to find Sarah and fast.

He then started running into the shadows with great speed looking for Sarah through this great darkness of a space. But soon enough he came to a stop.

(Y/N) : this isn't going to work. This void is too large for anyone tuo venture into. I must focus on her soul, maybe I'll be able to-

Before he was able to finish his thought he heard a cry within the void.

Sarah : (Y/N)!!!

Without even losing a single moment he rushed to where the sound originated after a few short seconds he could vaguely see Sarah who was on her knees hugging a small body. (Y/N) was confused at first but didn't cared for it that much he just closed in on her until he was stopped by a Crimson force field that pushed him away. Then a voice called out to him.

??? : I am sorry Master. I'm afraid you don't have access here.

(Y/N) : what is the meaning of this?!

He looked up and saw a gigantic Crimson eye over Sarah's head.

(Y/N) : this can't be.....why are you here?!

Eye : she was the one who looked into me. Now she must suffer for eternity.

(Y/N) : as your master I order you to stop it NOW!

Eye : forgive me.....but it's already too late. She has given up to her nightmares. There's no way to save her now.

(Y/N) : you're testing my patience. You remember what happened last time you did that right?

The eye then twitched a little as a sign of fear and did a motion that seemed like several fast nods.

(Y/N) : good. Now release her.

Eye : b-but Master......Y-you should know better. The only way for her to be released is to overcome her nightmare.

(Y/N) : unfortunately that is true. So tell me, what is her nightmare?
