I walk out the shower and put my new fluffy robe on and start brushing out my wet hair. I blow dry it and decide to straighten it. I walk out of my bathroom and into my closet to pick out some clothes. Lately, I've been wearing pants and long sleeve shirts or hoodies. I don't want them to see my tattoos just yet. They've only seen the ones on my hands. Today, we're going to buy some school supplies since I start school tomorrow. I haven't really talked to anyone here. I may not show it as much but I'm still very angry at them for giving me up. I mean, they took me in, made me think I had a loving, caring family who wouldn't hurt me, and then returned me like I was an object without saying goodbye and their faces showing no emotion. I didn't think they'd be that sick to do that. They couldn't even explain why.
Not to mention all the shit that's happened since then. I shake my head and continue the task at hand. I rummage through my closet until I find a nice comfortable outfit that'll cover up all my tattoos.

I walk out my door after picking up my phone and head to the kitchen. Pavel is already there cooking breakfast for everyone.
"Good morning." He says politely with a smile.
"Morning" I mumble back and give him a small smile which makes his whole face brighten up. Him and Ivan are the only ones I talk to. Well... if you call giving 3 sentence answers to any questions they ask and that I don't mind answering a conversation that is. While he cooks breakfast, I watch and notice how he doesn't put any cinnamon in his pancake batter.
"Why don't you put cinnamon in the batter? It'll taste better."
"Hm. I've never had cinnamon waffles or pancakes before." He says. My eyes almost pop out of their sockets.
"You've never had cinnamon waffles?!" I say loudly, but not too loudly. He shakes his head and at that, I get out of my seat and walk to one of the cabinets to take out the cinnamon. I put a generous amount in the batter and start mixing it while Pavel watches me. I finish mixing the cinnamon in the batter and put some syrup in it as well and mix it. Once I finish, I plug up the waffle maker and wait for it to heat up before pouring some of the batter in it. While I wait for that to cook, I get some plates, cups, utensils, and napkins and set the table.
