Chapter 31

This is honestly just a filler chapter because I didn't want to rush into the girls going to Italy, but you don't have to read this chapter since it's not too important.

Cory's POV

I put my elbow on my desk and lean my cheek into my hand. Look around to see most of my classmates in the same position as me, the majority of them already asleep while my History teacher talks about something completely useless. The bell finally rings and everyone rushes to get their things and leave the classroom.

When I walk out, I go to my locker and exchange my math binder, Literature binder, and History books for my French books, art kit, music book. I close my locker and make my way to the cafeteria. When I get there, I walk to my usual table and sit down in my usual seat. The only people there are Olive, Xavier, and Courtney. The four of us begin to eat and talk while we wait for the others. Eventually, the others arrive and sit at the table as well.

"Are you sure you guys don't want to come with us?" Evelyn asks. Some of the boys aren't going to the garden party. Xavier, Leo, and Axel are going, but Liam and Alex aren't going. They're still coming to Italy with us, just not to the party. Axel is only coming to be Courtney's date.

"Yeah, we're sure. Garden party doesn't really sound like my thing. Liam and I will probably go to some arcade or something." Alex says.

"If you say so."

We continue to talk about what we're going to do in Italy for the rest of lunch until the bell rings. When it does, I head over to my French class with Liam and Olive. When we walk in, we take our usual seats and get out our books. The teacher walks in as the bell rings and begins talking about the test we have in 2 days.

I put my elbow on my desk and put my chin in my palm like I've been doing for the past few classes. When the teacher posts the study guide for us to work on for the period, I put my airpods in, pick a random playlist, and begin working on it. I already know that the study guide he gave Olive, Liam, and me is different from everyone else's since we're way ahead of the rest of the class.

I know some people are confused by how the teachers teach the class one thing while they teach us something different. For History, the teacher posts slides of the notes we're supposed to take. Along with the slides, he also posts a google doc that consists of questions we have to answer that'll be on the quiz or test.

For French, the teacher gives us an assignment to do everyday, whether it's a paper or a digital copy. The same thing goes for math and Literature, but for Literature, we also ask the teacher for the study guid that relates to the act or chapters we read.

I end up finishing the study guide before the bell rings. When it does ring, I walk out the class room and to the library for my next period class which is free. I sit at my usual table and do some of the homework assigned by my teachers. When the bell rings, I pack up my things and walk to one of my favorite classes, Art. The classes I have after lunch are the ones I like the most; French, Free, Art, Music, and PE.

The rest of the day goes by pretty quickly. When the day's over, I lean on the driver seat door of my car, waiting for Cameron. When she walks up to me, I kiss her before getting in the driver's seat. Instead of driving home right away, I drive to Walmart. I park the car and we walk in. We walk through the isles and put whatever we need for the trip in the basket I'm carrying. When we finish grabbing whatever we need, we go to the register. We would usually do this last minute, but I'd rather do it now just to really make sure we have everything, and if we are missing anything, then we can get it last minute.

Once we're done in Walmart, we pick up some food  for ourselves and Cameron's dad before driving to her house. When we get there, we greet her dad and give him his food before walking up to her room and doing the last of our homework while we eat. When we finish, we put our school things away, throw away the trash, and cuddle up on her bed while watching Once Upon a Time.

"Are you excited for the trip next week?" I ask her.

"Yeah, I'm just a little nervous for the party."

"Why?"

"Don't take this the wrong way Cory, you know that I love you and that I want to be around practically all the time, but what will people say? I mean, yeah no one around here says anything, but that's because there's LGBTQ+ all around the area we live, so it's normal. Not to mention you've been hit on more times than I can count, but this is a whole new place, hell, a whole new country. I'm not ashamed or anything, I just worry about what people will say. I don't want you to feel embarrassed and think that I'm not good enough for you because of their words. I don't wanna lose you Cory."

I frown at her words.

"I completely understand where you're coming from when you say we're going to a whole new country and you're scared of what people will say, but you don't need to be. You could never embarrass me Cami and no matter what people say, I know that you're the only one for me. You will never lose me baby. I'm right here. No matter what happens, I will always love you Cameron. Fuck what people say about us and our relationship. Nothing could ever change the way I feel about you. You can't control who you fall in love with, and I've fallen desperately, irrevocably, ridiculously in love with you."

I reply to her statement, trying my best to reassure her. She sticks her head in my neck and gives me a small kiss on my neck before turning her attention back to the tv. I tighten my arms around her and kiss her temple before focusing on the show as well.

I know that there will be many bumps in the road and people will have a lot to say about our relationship, but honestly, I could care less. My relationship is my business. I decide who I want to be with, and I know that there is no one I'd rather be with, girl, boy, or other, than the beautiful girl laying in arms.

Hey everyone. I know, it's not my best work and it's really short. I didn't want to jump right into the group going to Italy because I've been doing a lot of big time skips, but I also wanted to give you guys something to read. However, stay tuned for further chapters as the group will be going to Italy, not only for the Garden Party, but just as another vacation. Who knows, maybe someone else in the group will find their significant bae, maybe there'll be a little danger.😈

Anyway, the next chapter will definitely be better, but overall, I hope you guys enjoyed.
