Hugo's POV

I looked down to Sofia, hopefully she'll be okay. I went to her room and gently lay her down on the bed.

Everyone came rushing into her room, concerned about Sofia.

Roland asked expressing concern for his daughter, "What happened Hugo?"

I mumbled as I looked back at Sofia, "I-I don't know."

Roland called Violet as he urged her, "Violet call the royal doctor!"

The doctor came and did a quick check up on Sofia, he saw her wound and stitched her wound slowly. He frowned as he sighed looking at us with sorrow eyes, "Your majesties do you want the good news or the bad news?"

Roland said nervously as he squeezed Miranda's hand, "Good news first."

The doctor said looking back on Sofia, "Well the good news is that she's still alive."

We all let out a sigh of relief when he added while frowning, "But something reached her heart, at first only a small fraction of it was at her heart but it didn't make her collapse."

I thought back to the ball event we had. Oh I get it.

I chimed in as I stepped forward, "So not all of the poison has reached her heart when it was the ball, only a small amount because?"

He continued, "Because during that time she was stronger than the poison but now considering she's weaker than before."

Amber asked as she chimed in, "So is there any way to help my little sister or will she just die from the poison?"

He said while thinking, "Well we can't know for sure princess Amber." "I'll come and check how she's doing in tomorrow morning."

Roland thanked him, "Thank you." "See you tomorrow."

He bowed before he left. I looked at Stefan, Connor and Clarence with a serious look on my face.

Stefan's POV

We were going to leave Sofia's room when Hugo gave me, dad and Clarence a serious look.

I said as I sat down, "Look Dad I think you owe us an explanation now."

Connor sighed as he said, "Okay I will." "But Clarence needs to do some explaining as well."

Clarence nodded as he explained a bit, "Okay so when me and Connor did do the potion to speed up the poison." "We didn't think she would be able to fight it but obviously she proved us wrong." "So considering she was strong enough to fight the potion and poison at the time."

Connor added as he stepped forward, "Which just allowed it, just to go to her heart but only a small amount to still make her feel weak but too weak."

Hugo asked as he tucked a strand of her auburn hair behind her ear, "So is there any way to help her?"

Clarence explained as he waved his hands around, "I think there is way but you can't do it alone." "You'll need Stefan and Thomas."

Hugo asked with a questioning look, "Why just them two?" He looked at Thomas as he said honestly, "No offence but I need to trust you before we do anything."

Thomas chuckled softly as he rolled his eyes playfully, "Okay, but give me and dad a second chance and you'll know."

Clarence explained, "Okay there's something like the fountain of youth." "But instead of giving them a chance to be young again, the water heals them." "It's found in the Enchanted Forest." "It's a day trip there so it won't take long." "You'll leave tomorrow with them." "Is that okay with you Hugo?"

He nodded as he went to the guest room to sleep. We all smiled at each other before going to sleep.
