sirius holds onto his new cup of coffee whilst remus finished up and payed for it.
Lily and Peter were stood aside waiting to find a table when remus turns back around.

"i'm sorry again" remus says apologetically.

"no- i definitely owe you an apology for ruining that jumper of yours" he says with a slight laugh "why don't you and your friends come sit with me and my buddy?"

sirius says and remus looks at him but before he could answer, sirius took his arm and lead him over to the table, shortly to be followed by lily and peter.

"Jamsie! These are my new friends" Sirius glances at them "Wolfboy, red and blondie"

James glances up from his phone his eyes straight away sticking to Lily before he clears his throat and looks at sirius. Remus looked half confused. Wolfboy?

"First of all- don't call me that. Now what's your real names" he smiles and looks at remus, his smile turning slightly blank as he looks at him for longer. Remus shortly realised he was staring at his scar respectfully.

"i'm remus-" he says before pausing and whispering "bike accident"

of course that was a lie.

james tilts his head and nods before looking to the others who introduce themselves. Sirius' eyes were on remus the whole time. he didn't quite know why but something about remus interested him.. made him want to find out more.

they all sit down and remus leans his arm against his book. lily sits opposite him on the other end of the table trying to get his attention. as remus looks up lily mouths the words 'sorry' and remus smiles shrugging. Lily hesitantly rummages through her pocket and hands him something under the table. his cigarettes. his smile slightly widens as he pushes them into his pocket.

"i'm really in the mood for a waffle" peter whispers to remus across the table and lily nods in agreement.

remus shakes his head quickly in dismay.

"waffles? i'm sorry but pancakes are way better" he says pushing the menu aside seeing sirius melt in his seat.

"oh my god- pancakes" sirius mumbles and james rolls his eyes.

"you'll have to excuse him. he's a bit of a... what do you call it- simp for pancakes" james chuckles out causing the others to laugh too. he earns a nudge from sirius.

remus wasn't a big eater or so he liked to tell people. it was more down to the fact that he would feel so ill every day from the lack of food he was eating. he had his reasons. however everyone knows it wasn't healthy.

the rest of breakfast was rather nice. james and sirius were very friendly and despite remus being unable to stop glancing over at sirius, he enjoyed every minute of being there.
I mean who wouldn't be able to stop looking at this guy. he was gorgeous. the way his black hair fell perfectly to his shoulders, how his thin eyeliner complimented his eyes, how his smile and bold teeth were bright enough to light up the room, how his clothes sat on him perfectly; beginning at his black AC/DC rock band t-shirt to his black ripped skinny jeans and his leather jacket. he looked pretty badass for someone as nice as he was.

Remus didn't eat much. he had a few bites of his pancakes and stopped almost as soon as he did, his stomach turning slightly.

leaning against the car, remus fiddled with the packet of cigarettes in his pocket as james and sirius stood in front of him, lily and peter either side.

"well we best be off, it was lovely meeting you all" james said with a smile, holding a small piece of paper in his hand before handing it to lily "in case any of you need it"
