I Try To Picture Me Without You But I Can't

Part Nine

Y/N's POV:

We just got settled into our rooms. I was on my bed just chilling. The room was pretty nice, the bed is pure white and is very fluffy. Though it will be bad if I started my period... I shake my head trying to forget how embarrassing that would be.

I examined the rest of the room, there is a large window with a couch and there is a huge bookshelf on the wall. The room has a almost royal aesthetic. I then hear a knock at the door. "Come in!" I shouted. Will peeks through the door. "Um, Y-Y/N?" He asked, I stood up from the bed. "Hey! What's up?" I asked him tilting my head. "Meet me at the balcony!" He shouted then scurried off in a hurry. I raise my eyebrow and walk out of the door.

I look for the balcony and it so happened to be on the left side of Hiro's room. I stood in front of Hiro's door for some reason. These past few days, every time he does something cute I get flustered. I think I have a crush on him. I shake my head, Hiro is just a good friend... I then forgot the whole reason I was out here. I walk out to the balcony.

The balcony is like a green house, plastic covering the whole balcony with a bunch of plants and it was nice and warm in there. I see Will waiting by a tree. "Hey! Um, what did you want to talk about?" I ask him, once I got a closer look of his face I realized that he is kinda cute. He has freckles, blue crystal eyes, a charming smile and fluffy orange hair! Kinda like Hiro's hair.

Will was fiddling with his thumbs. "Um, I know we just met but... i think I like you!" Will blurted out. I was a little stunned but I was gonna say how we should go on a date or something to get to know each other better. Before I could open my mouth he kissed me, on the lips! I immediately pulled away. "What the hell!" I shouted. "I don't even know you!" I said. "B-But I believe in love at first sight." Will said. "I still don't know you! I was going to say we could go on a date or something but you can't just kiss a girl that you don't know!" I shouted at him, I was furious. That was my first kiss. Just taken by some kid I don't know.

I start storming out, I see Hiro at the door but I don't wanna see anyone. I storm passed him and slam the door to my room. I jump in my bed with my face in the fluffy white pillow. I wanted my first kiss to be with someone I love, not by a stranger.

I then hear a knock at the door. I don't say anything, I don't want to see anyone. "It's me, Hiro." The person on the other door said. I hesitated for a second but decided that he could come in. "Come in!" I howler at the door, as the door opens I sit up cross legged still holding the pillow.

Hiro's POV:

I opened the door to see Y/N sitting there. She looked upset, her eyebrows are furrow and her calm smile was in a deep frown. "Hey Y/N." I rolled over to her. I slid off my wheel chair and use my arm strength to pull myself next to Y/N. Once I sit next to her a give a huff and then looked at her. "What happened over there?" I asked. She was silent for a second. "Will kissed me." She muttered. "What?!" I said surprised. "He said he liked me and I was going to say maybe we can go on a date first to get to know each other better, but no. He kissed me right on the lips! And that was my first kiss! I wanted my first kiss to be with someone I love..." she started to cry a little.

I'm not really good when people cry, I have no idea what to say. Y/N starts to wipe her tears. "I'm sorry. It's a stupid reason to cry." She whimpered. "No, no. It's totally ok to cry! I-I mean, he kissed you without consent!" I said to her while rubbing her back. Y/N sniffled. "I don't know why I'm getting so worked up about this! I-I...I don't know.." she said looking at her lap confused. I decided to kinda joke around to make her feel better. "You've never had a first kiss before?" I teased, she giggled. "Oh shut up." She punched my arm. "I bet you haven't had a first kiss as well." Y/N teased back. "Nope." I admitted, I'm just glad Y/N is feeling a bit better.

"You know, Tadashi's first kiss was by a girl that broke his heart but then he got over it. And I bet you will get over it too, because you both are the most are strong and independent people I know." I told her the truth, she stared at me for a second. "Tadashi must have been a really nice guy." Y/N said. "He was my favorite person in the world, until now." I said turning my face, to hide my pink face. "Thank you." Y/N said, I turned to her and her face was a light pink.

"Hiro." She scooted a little closer to me. "We are good friends, right?" She asked me, I nodded. "Well... I just want your first kiss to be by, someone who loves you." Y/N said staring at my eyes. I gulped, is this where I think this is going? And does that mean she loves me?

"Ok?" Y/N asked leaning closer to me, our arms were now touching. "Is that alright with you?" Y/N asked and I give her a small nod. We both face each other, our face only inches away from each other. I feel my face heating up, she is really going to kiss me.

Y/N let's in a deep breath and leans in towards me, once our lips touched my heart pounded. It wasn't a special kiss with tongue to tongue, it was just a sweet kiss on our lips. I realized that my lips are probably chapped, I start to get self conscious of myself. I just tried to forget those thoughts, right now Y/N's soft glossy lips were up against mine. It seemed like forever we were kissing but it was probably only thirty seconds or less. Y/N leans back from the kiss, she breathed in and out. Trying to catch her breath I suppose. I was just stunned, I didn't move or speak. Y/N looks at me again. "I love you, nerd. You are my best friend." Y/N said, it broke my heart a little when she said best friend but she loves me. "I, love you too." I say back, she gives me a hug and I just melt into it.

Once we break the hug she asked. "Sorry if my kissing was lame, I just had my first kiss fifteen minutes ago." Y/N giggled. "No, your k-kissing was n-nice." I admit. She just giggled again as she hugged me again.
