I Try To Picture Me Without You But I Can't

Part Ten

Hiro's POV:

It has been a month since we kissed. I haven't slept all of that time, I just kept thinking about her and her lips pressing against mine. It was driving me crazy! Besides that I finally can walk again and now I have to go back to college, yay.

I was on my way to college right now. The snow from the blizzard finally melted and the birds were singing. The nice warm sun beating against my skin.

I walked inside of the SFIT college and looked at my time schedule. I had just plain old robotics first and I sighed as I walk to the class. I finally got sleep when I didn't go to college but now I'm going to never sleep again!

As I turn a corner, someone bumped into me. I fell backwards and the person fell on top of me. "Oof." I heard the girl say as she gets up. It's Y/N. "Y/N! What are you doing here?" I asked still on the ground. "I go to this college, remember?" She said with a raised eyebrow, I immediately remembered. "Anyways sorry about that." Y/N said reaching out her hand to me, I grab it as she pulls me up. "I was late to one of my classes... wait! I am late to my class!" She shouted as she grabs all of her things then runs off. "See ya Hiro!" She shouted back to
me.

Shit, I still need to ask her on a date! I smash my hand to my forehead. I continued to walk towards class, still thinking of a way to ask her. Maybe I'll ask her on Valentines.

I finally got to class and sit down.
The Professor gave us a huge project and it is two weeks long. I'm not going to be sleeping again.

Time Skip One Week and Four Days

The project wants us to do an small robot. Usually a big robot is easier because you can pack everything into it but a small robot you have to be careful and petit. I haven't slept for one week and four days, I also didn't shower or eat. Well, Y/N has been coming in and giving me food and water. But each time she comes in she keeps asking are you ok? And it's kinda getting annoying. I'm not ok, I'm tired but I don't want to tell her that. Tadashi would not have slept, I can't be weak.

I then hear a knock at my door. "Come in!" I shouted still working on my little robot. I hear the door open and footsteps coming near me. "Hey Hiro." Y/N said, I didn't look at her. I am too concentrated on my work. "Hey." I plainly say. "I brought you food." She said setting it on my desk. "Ok, thanks." I say. Y/N just stands there. "Hiro, are you ok? You look really tired and-" I cut her off. "Shut up. Stop asking. It's getting really annoying." I snapped at her.

She was silent. "Oh, well I'm sorry I'm being annoying." Y/N said in an almost sarcastic tone. "Just leave me alone. Your just a distraction right now." I said, I realized what I said. I looked back to Y/N and she looked teary eyed. "Oh well, I'm sorry. I'll just leave you alone..." She said starting to walk out. I immediately get up. "W-Wait! I didn't mean to-" but the lab door already shut before I could finish.

Y/N's POV:

I walk out of the SFIT building wiping away tears. I'm just a distraction to him?! I feel so hurt right now, I was just trying to help him.

I want to curl up in bed and go to sleep but I can't.  My step mom will make me clean the house like usual. I don't have a home. More and more tears start to escape my eyes. I go to the field in the park, it's just a large field of yellow. I lay down in it and curl up in a ball. I cover my winter jacket around me to seem like a blanket, I put my backpack as a pillow. I continued to cry and cry. I hate myself for doing that, I'm acting like a crybaby. I guess lately I've just been bottling up my emotions and all the small things have been making me cry. Maybe it wasn't right to get mad at Hiro, maybe it's just all my fault. Maybe I am just annoying. Bad thoughts keep creeping through my head that I try to keep out.

Hiro's POV:

"Ugh! I'm so stupid!" I screamed while pacing around my lab. Baymax inflated. "I heard sounds of distress, what seems to be the matter?" Baymax asked. "I-I told Y/N that she was nothing but a distraction! And now she is probably somewhere crying!" I said scratching my big fluffy hair.

I know where she is because.... I kinda put a tracking device on her. Ok that's super creepy but I just wanted to make sure that she doesn't get kidnapped! She always walks everywhere alone at night. Anyways, I can't see her now because she will run away or something.

An idea popped into my head, I started running back home with Baymax. I can make something for her, it will take me a bit but it will be worth it!

Y/N's POV:

I don't know how long it has been but the sun has just set. I look up to see the city lights reflect on the sky, the worse part about living in a city is that you can't see the stars as well.

I then hear rustling in the field, the field is tall so I couldn't see who it was. I was ready to punch whoever it was. Once I figure popped out of the bush beside me I immediately kicked them in the no no square. The boy screamed in agony, I realized it was Hiro. "Omg, Hiro I'm so- wait no I'm not sorry." I turn away from him. I didn't want to see him, I'd rather be by myself with my own thoughts. After a couple minutes of Hiro probably recovering he taps my shoulder. I give him a death glare. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't in the right mind space an-and oh! I got you- sorry, made you this." He hands me a box really fast. I just look at him and then look at the box.

I start to open it and the first thing I see is a giant fluffy stuffed animal. "Pff, you did not make this, I see the tag." I said holding it up. "That's not all, keep looking." Hiro said. I look back into the box to see, a tiny Baymax. "It's so cute." I said looking at it. "Ow." Hiro said and the Baymax turned on. "Hello. I am Minimax, your personal healthcare companion. I can help with smaller damages like cuts, bruises and etc." Minimax finished. "And, I made him more squishy." Hiro said poking the side of Minimax. I pick Minimax up and squeeze him. "Thanks." I said to him with a curt smile. "But I'm still mad." I said to him, it was really hurtful what he said. "Ok, well... why don't I take you somewhere this week? And I can get your (favorite cake), the really expensive one." Hiro said, I thought for a second then nod.

All of a sudden he kissed me! I was a little surprised but I melted into the kiss. Once he let go he looked at my shocked face. My face was probably a hot pink. "I'm-I'm sorry! Um, I'll see you-" he was about to leave but I grab his wrist. "Um wait." I said holding Minimax to cover half my face, my nose was covered. "I-I liked that..." I said blushing even more. "You did?" Hiro asked and I nod. He smiles and blushes a little bit more. I then kiss his cheek. "Let me know when you buy my cake." I said in his ear then backed away. He gave me a nod with a silly smile on his face. Hiro gives me a small wave and runs off.

"Kissing can give you bacteria, I suggest not to do it when he is sick." Minimax said but I don't care, I'm happy.
