Beth Eberhart
Is this day not over yet?
Beth had never been the most enthusiastic student, but she certainly wasn't stupid. She was more for practical magic like Charms and Transfiguration, and Potions was simply not one of her strong suits.
Her and Ethan were making their way out of the Great Hall after lunch.
"So you're not going to say anything about you and Theo" Ethan asked as they began to make their way down the corridor.
"I don't know" she grumbled, "I feel like there's nothing to say"
"You two are literally all over each other. I feel like that's saying a lot"
"Okay but it's not like we're together..." she trailed off.
"I mean he's hot, so I can't blame you-"
Ethan promptly dropped the subject as he spotted the man himself walking straight towards him.
"Speak of the devil" Beth said with a smirk loud enough for Theo to hear.
"Missed me, Eberhart?" he asked, throwing his arm around her.
Wow he really is pretty. How is this even happening right now?
"Godric I hate straight people" Ethan joked, "I'm heading to the common room before Herbology"
Beth and Theo laughed as Ethan made his way down the hall, leaving the two of them alone for the first time since they had been back at school.
Most of the students were still at lunch, and the hallways were still empty. Theo seized the opportunity to pull Beth to the side of the corridor, pinning her against the wall. With the wind suddenly knocked out of her, she had no time to protest before Theo's lips were on hers. The tension between the two of them became more electric than ever, as she quickly gave in to his ambush.
As their mouths pressed together, becoming more intense by the second, her mind was racing.
Oh Merlin we shouldn't be doing this. It's so wrong. So so wrong.
Her thoughts were interrupted as Theo swiftly pulled away. He smirked at her, seemingly entertained by how easily she had given into him, but satisfied nonetheless. She blinked back at him, trying to hide the fact that she was surprised he had actually snogged her on their way to class.
Theodore. Fucking. Nott.
Everyone wanted him. Not to date him, just to say they had him. And shockingly enough, that seemed to be exactly what she was getting. She couldn't deny that they weren't attracted to each other, and the kiss seemed to seal her fate.
"Nott-" she started a bit breathless, but was cut off once again by Theo's lips as he gave her another peck.
Looking down at Beth, Theo lifted her chin, for their eyes to meet. A familiar smirk crept onto his mouth. "Now that that's out of the way, we better get to potions. Don't want to keep our dear Malfoy and Haven waiting do we?"
Stunned by how quickly their moment was all over and he had moved on, all Beth could do was nod in response, as they turned to make their way down the stairs.

They arrived at Potions with a few minutes to spare, spotting the very punctual Nikki Haven sitting at an empty table in the back.
Thank Godric she's here, she thought, although she wasn't so sure that Nikki was going to be much of a distraction with Theo taking the seat next to her.
