Not yours | JJ Maybank

Part 5

JJ flies into the water and all of us run to check if he's alright.

"Why can't I see him?" Kie asks worried.

"He's probably just chilling with the fishes," I say and go back sitting.

"I think my heels touched the back of my head" JJ groaned and swims to the boat.

"Pope what did you hit?" JJ asks. Pope looks in the water surprised.

"I think there's a boat down there," Pope says.

"No way," Kie says as all of us go look in the water. It's true. There really is a boat down there. 

I took my shirt and shorts off and say "Diver down"

I jump in the water before anyone gets to say anything.  I swim down to the boat and try to find something. I see keys and took them with me.  I swim back up and throw keys to JJ.

"It's Grady White," I say and everyone looks confused.

"Who is so stupid that goes to a storm with Grady White?" Kie says and eats carrots.

I put my clothes on as I hear John B and JJ talking.

" I don't know what was that, but I liked it," JJ says to John B.

"No pogue on pogue smacking, remember? God, I hate that rule." John B says as they both stare my boobs.

"My eyes are up here boys," I say and point my eyes. I put my shirt on and sit next to JJ. Pope starts driving towards the coast Guard's house. We tried to tell them about the boat, but they were too busy.  We walk out and everyone is trying to figure out what are we doing next.

"So wanna find out who owns that boat?" I ask. 

"I don't think it's a good idea," Pope says nervously.

"I'm in" JJ and John B shouts and starts walking towards the boat.

"Come on ill be a lookout," Kie says and tries to convince Pope to come with us.

We arrive to the motel and JJ starts speaking "This is your captain speaking. HMS pogue coming in for a landing. Whoo!" He jumps off the boat and ties the boat. 

"So JJ and John B let's go," I say and step out of the boat.

"We didn't say you can come with us," John B says. 

"Yeahh, too dangerous to a rich girl," JJ says and tries to annoy me on purpose.

I take the keys from JJ's hands and start walking. Boys run after me and we go looking for the room. 

"This is it," John B says. I'm trying to go in, but JJ pushes me away. 

"You can't just go there," JJ says and starts knocking. 

*Knock knock knock*

"Housekeeping," JJ says and tries to sound woman. 

"Just go in there," I say and JJ opens the door.

The room is empty so we close the door and start searching places.  John B found some paper with numbers on it.  It must be code for safe. John B taps the numbers and it opens. There is money, some other stuff, and a gun.

"JJ put that away," I say to JJ who has already taken the gun.

"I think I'm going to keep this," He says as we hear something from outside. Kie and Pope are there saying that cops are here. 

"Fuck" I sigh and climb out of the window. JJ comes standing right behind me and John B goes to the other side. JJ puts his hands on my waist and comes closer. My legs get weak every time he does this. When the cops have left I push JJ away and jump to the ground.

"I know that drives you crazy Em!" JJ says as we walk back to the boat.

"Shut up JJ," I say and sit next to Kie. 

"So you're taking me home ?" I ask and Pope nods. He drives to our pier and I step out of the boat. 

"See you tomorrow guys," I say and start walking towards my home.
