Not yours | JJ Maybank

Part 2

I step out of the plane and start walking to our car. We put our bags in the back seat and head home. Nothing has changed while we were in Hawaii. Dad drives slowly along the streets like he's checking the places. Finally, we arrive home and I take my bags and head to our front door.

I step into the house and took my shoes off. I go straight to my room and call Topper.

"Heyy! Guess whos back in town." I yell on the phone.

"What already?" Topper asks little surprised.

"See you in an hour at the store," I say and end the call.

I get up and start to get ready. I put on some shorts and head to the store. I don't see Topper yet, but I get it because I called him only 30 minutes ago. I decide to buy something to drink and walk into the store. I buy some water and then get out of the store.

I took my phone and I'm about to call him when I hear a too familiar voice.

" Oh I see the princess is back in town"

My heart starts beating in my chest and I turn around and see JJ and John B right in front of me.

"Yeah I am, but not for you," I say annoyed.

I turn my back on them and start walking away. I feel their eyes on my back till I turn around the corner.

Topper just arrives and I give him a quick kiss and it doesn't feel right. I know it's not going to go well if I break up with him but I don't give a fuck. I had fun with him but it's over now.

"So where are we going?" I ask while we walk to the store again. Topper wanted to go to some pougs beach party so we start walking towards the beach. There is a lot of teens and almost everyone is high or drunk. When we go to get a drink I see JJ again. I should have known who throws a party every time at the end of the summer.

"Give me something to drink," Topper says and throws JJ a cup. JJ stands up and drops the cup on the sand.

"You can have a drink when you ask pretty please," JJ says and makes Topper angry.

"Come on Topper, Let's go," I say and try to pull him away.

His friends Rafe and Kelce have just come here too and Topper goes to say hi to them. I walk to Sarah that has just come here.

"Heyy," She says to me and gives me big hug. Rafe, Kelce, and Topper comes to us with a bottle of vodka. We decided to start taking shots and it was so fun. When the bottle was empty I was a little drunk already.

I walk back to the bonfire and great JJ is still here smoking weed.

I take a cup and fill it with beer. JJ raises his beautiful blue eyes and looks me up and down two times.

"What are you looking at Maybank" I snap at him and turn around and drink my beer.

I look behind me last time and see that he stands up and comes to me. He is so close to me that I can feel his breath on my neck. I stop walking and my heart starts beating in my chest. He slides his hands to my waist and pulls me closer to him.

"You know I really like that look on your boyfriend's face when he's angry." He whispers in my ear laughing. I turn around and push him back. Topper walks angrily to us and I try to calm him down.

He is almost turning away, but then he turns around and hits JJ in the face. JJ stumbles a little bit but then raises his arm and punches Topper. Then Rafe and Kelce goes into a fight too. They beat JJ and no one is trying to stop them. I'm yelling at them to stop and I try to help JJ, but Rafe drags me away. John B and Pope run in the middle of the fight to help JJ. Pope beats Kelces ass and then drags Topper away from JJ. I run to JJ that's laying on the sand with a black eye. Kie helps JJ to get up and then Topper is already fighting with John B.

They fall into the water and Topper gets up and punches John B on the ground. He presses John B's head under the water.

"Topper stop, you're killing him" I cry and beg him to stop.

Then JJ runs to them and I see a gun against Topper's head...
