it was dark out, around 2 AM yet i was walking the streets alone, i needed to clear my thoughts, everything happening in the city lately it's too much especially after what had happened to my mother.

yet with all this going on, i probably shouldn't be running around all alone at this time i thought to myself.
soon after i walked into a dark alleyway to make a short cut, that i definitely shouldn't have done, i hear a whisper and the sound of a can dropping from the top of the building next to me and look up "hm?" i hum quietly to myself as i looked around, before i saw a man, wearing a mask grinning down at me, i stare confused as the man jumps down like it was nothing, i stand there in shock of how he wasn't hurt, "what the fuck!?" i say worried and confused as he looks at me with a confused expression, "why aren't you scared of me?"
he says as his voice has a hint of rasp and depth while he comes closer slowly.

"what? why would i be scared of you"
i ask as i stand in my place with confused eyes
"hm, interesting."
he says before jumping up onto the other building and disappearing into the night sky, "w-what? how the fu-" i say in shock of what i just saw.

soon i go back to walking trying to forget what happened, i pull out my earphones and turn on some music, i suddenly feel a pull on my arm while walking the sidewalk, i groan as i look back and see a man staring at me.
"hey, y/n is it? we go to the same school, it's about to rain wanna come back to my place?" he says with a smirk as i try to hold back my disgust and urge to jump him

"oh- uhm, actually i'm heading home now, thank you for the offer though."
i say with a light fake smile before turning back before feeling a tight pull again
"what? no come with me, we can have some fun, i'm mark you remember right?"

i stand there in stock almost scared of what he'll do to me if i say no.
"o-oh uhm mark you see i'm really not-"
i say as i get cut off by someone behind me,

"she said no, don't you fucking understand that."
i widen my eyes recognizing the deep and raspy voice, mark looks at the man annoyed
"who are you punk! leave us alone." he says putting his hands in his pockets suspiciously, "who am i?" he says before letting out an intimidating chuckle, "i'm your worst nightmare." the mystery guy stares right into mark's eyes as his glow a misty purple.
i stand there in shock suddenly feeling like i'm in some kind fan fiction

mark's body collapses for a moment before he stands back up and walks away like nothing ever happened.
the mystery man walks up to me and grabs my shoulders softly looking in my eyes, i felt like the world stopped as i looked into his black eyes yet they were filled with a certain spark, as i heard him speaking i snapped out of it.
"are you okay? did he hurt you."
he asks me while having a weirdly worried look in his eyes,
"what oh- yeaa i'm fine, thank you?"
i say softly with a light confused smile as he removes his hands and starts to walk away before i stop him
"wait! um what's your name?" i ask as he grins, "call me, JK." he says before jumping off again, "woah." i say to myself in awe of his beautiful and mysterious aura, i wanted to know more.
