𝐄𝐔𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐂.

a peaceful sense overflows my body
i finally feel like everything is normal again.

i'm quite cold but the euphoric sense masks it.
my clothing is wet but dried up to my body
uncomfortably.

i slowly open my eyes to see blinding sunlight right above me, i'm laying on some sand near lots of big rocks by the water, i have sand stuck to my body and clothing, i groan as a massive headache starts appearing, i place my elbows on the ground and push myself up, my chest burns and feels like i've just smoked 20 cigarettes in one sitting.

i grab my shirt and pull it off of my stomach so it's more loose, my skin is itchy and dry
so i stand up and look around, i'm on some kind of public beach but not many people are here currently except a few but all of them are very far from me, i walk in the opposite way hoping to find some kind of shelter or store.

i walk around the street where a few beach shops are at and i find a beach shower area
i gasp in excitement and walk over, i stand under one that's available while turning the water on, i rub the water all over to get the sand off of my clothing and body, i take off my shirt knowing i have a bra under it and it'll just look like i have a bikini on, i ring the shirt out and hang it around the shower head while taking off my wet jeans.
i have black undergarments and a black bra so hopefully it just looks like i went swimming.

i grab one of the free towels and dry myself off before wrapping it around myself for more coverage while exploring the area more.

JK's POV

we've been looking for her all day checking the bridge, the other beaches, random places. asking people if they've seen her yet we've got nothing
i'm frustrated and tired but, i won't give up
we will find her.

i walk around the streets of lilac coast beach since it's quite close to where y/n jumped, my face is sweaty from the hot sun and my shirt is pretty much soaked.
i go into a few shops just to see if she may have got into one
my mind is telling me she didn't make it
but my heart is telling me she did.
and i'm still not sure why i feel this way.

END OF JK's POV

after exploring a little bit i walk into a store and go up to the checkout lady, "hello, uh i was wondering if you guys had any free clothes or anything? i don't have anything but my bathing suit and my other clothes got uh, stolen"

she looks at me confused but goes normal quickly, "sure, we don't have anything free but i can pick you out some clothes and give them to you for free if you want, but you'll have to pay us back eventually."
she says with a smile.

"that would be great thank you, and yes i'll pay you back when i can" i say while she goes into the back to get me a change of clothes

she brings me back a dark grey oversized
t-shirt that goes down to my thighs and a pair of black leggings with some white socks and underwear.

i take them from her hands with a smile
"thank you so much, do u have anywhere i can change at?" she nods and points to a dressing room, i walk my way over and lock the door taking off my other clothes and wiping myself dry while putting on the clothes.

after a few minutes i get my old clothes and put them into a trash can while taking my towel out, i wave to the cashier before walking out of the shop, full of happiness and a big smile, nobody will ever take me away from this again.
