Boom here it is, like a year in the making! Honestly this is not my best writing and the ending is rushed but I wrote it and I'm posting it. I hope you guys enjoy it. I'm accepting requests if you guys have any ideas. I'm hoping that I can fall into writing a bit more as my personal life is such horse shit right now and I just sort of want to escape lol, so hopefully I'll be writing more. I might start another book for another band or I might just focus on this idk..Anyways enjoy

==========
The sun warmed your skin in the most wonderful sense and the grass tickled at your ankles, and elbows, and calves, and ears. You stretched out as wide as you could, savoring the soft burn of your muscles and taking in nice deep breaths of the sweet fresh air. A subtle wind passed through, sending the ripe leaves of the oak trees into a lovely waltz about the sky, mingling with the clouds and contrasting the lovely blue before settling into the grass all around you. Strands of your hair floated into your field of vision so you made a game of trying to move them with your breath.

"There you are," you heard Roger's voice. You couldn't help but smile at the sweet sound as you rolled onto your side to watch him walk toward you. He stuck out like a sore thumb in his usual attire. Black shirt and black jeans with his hands shoved into his pockets among a sea of colors. His lanky body swayed a bit with every step as he admired the scene before him.

"I thought maybe you'd ditched me or something," he said with a nervous chuckle as he came to sit before you cross legged and a bit sloppy. There was a hint of true insecurity in his voice that he tried to mask with humor. You'd been trying for as long as you'd known him to expel it. It seemed that no matter what you did or said he'd always be scared you were going to leave him. You only wanted for him to feel safe.

"Where would I have gone? Off to the mountains by myself to live as a caveperson?" you questioned him with a small smile of reassurance.

"I dunno." he shrugged and glanced down at the ground, plucking a dandelion and twirling it in between his long slender fingers.

"I missed you while you were gone," you said, reaching out to place a hand on his knee. He glanced up then and smiled at you.

"It was only about an hour and a half...and I was able to get you honeydew," he said with a bit of pride in his expression.

"My hero," you sang with a wink. A bit of pink came to his cheeks as he grinned.

"Are you going to make a wish?" you questioned, furrowing your eyebrows in curiosity.

"A what?" he asked before a dawning realization overcame his features. He glanced down at the dandelion and thought for a moment. Then, he closed his eyes tight so little wrinkles appeared beside them and his nose scrunched up, and he took in a big deep breath before sending the little cotton like seeds soaring all around.

"What did you wish for?"

"Can't tell you," he teased as he tossed the stem to the side. You stuck your tongue out at him and he only laughed.

"Come lay with me for a while," you said, reaching out to tenderly squeeze his hands. He smirked a bit and nodded before he came to lay down. The pair of you watched the clouds for at least an hour, just pointing out different shapes and enjoying the simple tranquility of being together. Just the two of you. No band, no work, no chores, no gigs. Just you and your Roger. Every little discontentment had been abandoned in the foggy muddling streets of London. In your little cottage tucked away in the hills and valleys, the two of you were free.

"That one reminds me of a lamb," you commented.

"You've said that about almost all of them," Roger pointed out.
