Hello, here is the second chapter. I'm honestly not sure how happy I am with this, but I hope you guys like it. Anyways enjoy, if you have a request let me know. Nick's is pretty short, but I've got a an imagine in for him the works right now to make up for it
Syd-It was absolutely freezing outside and the sun had set almost completely. Your voice had grown hoarse from calling for her. A sense of panic was beginning to set in and your hot tears contrasted the chilling winds that whipped against your face. You'd walked through your entire neighborhood and now were by the park and the walking trails. She could've been hiding anywhere.
"Are you alright?" you heard a voice behind you ask. Quickly you spun around to find a boy about your age standing behind you. You found him impossibly handsome as he stood there shuffling nervously with his hands shoved deeply into his pockets. His dark hair was wind tossed and he had absolutely mystical eyes.
"Uh...no, not really. My cat ran off and-and she's never been outside before," you told him with a sniffle. You took a mitten covered hand and wiped your eyes.
"Do you need help looking? I'm Syd Barrett I uh live right over the hill. We could go through the park together and then maybe up Walnut street," he suggested.
"Thank you so much." You gave him a watery smile, "I'm Y/N L/N."
The two of you walked through the park with him shaking her food and you calling for her. Before you knew it the sky was pitch black and the snow had picked up.
"We're never going to find her," you murmured.
"Don't say that. She's probably looking for us too," Syd reassured you, placing a soft hand on your shoulder. You nodded and continued your walk through Maple Street and then up Trevor Road and through a few neighborhoods in that direction.
"Petunia! Here kitty, kitty, kitty!" you shouted. Syd continued shaking the box of her food. You scanned the shrubberies around the street sign and then at a line of trees at the end of the cul de sac.
"Petunia!" Suddenly you saw her bright green eyes and then her white fur as she scurried out from under a parked car.
"There you are!" You cheered as you lifted her up into your arms. She was horribly filthy, covered with dirt and leaves.
"Syd, this is Petunia," you introduced the two of them, giving him a wide smile.
"It is a pleasure to meet you," he said to the cat, dipping his hand into her food to offer her some. She gladly accepted and munched on it right out of his palm.
"Oh she likes you!"
"I'm glad...would you like me to walk you home? It's quite dark out," he said glancing down at his shoes before meeting your eyes.
"I'd like that very much," you replied.
