"Mate?? Is that why you've been out?" The boy asked with shock.
"Yeah explo-zo here was stalking the poor guy." Kirishima clicked his tongue in disappointment, looking at the man who grew quick to anger.
"Shut it crusty." He growled, glaring back at the very crusty haired guy who simply chuckled in reaction.

"You didn't even bother to stop him Kiri?" The blond gave him a look, saying how stupid he was.
"Come on Kami, he ordered me! The guy was adamant about Midoriya!" Kirishima tried to defend himself.
"Ahh whatever, let's just get him settled."

Before he knew it, he was led to a big tent. It looked rather thick and cozy, with the average dirty white color. While walking towards the tent, there were a lot of awkward stares. From the smell of it, he was the only omega.. all of them were alphas and mostly betas. It definitely didn't help with any sort of comfort that he was looking forward to.

"We're staying here for a bit, heading out in a few days." Bakugou said, shuffling around a pack of item placed in a corner.
"O-Okay.." He nodded, watching the man grab something and abruptly turn around. The man grabbed Midoriya's hand and placed a strange pack wrapped neatly in cloth.
"Eat, sit on the bed and I'll be back." Bakugou pushed him down onto the bed gently, unmet by any sort of resistance.

"U-Umm Bakugou..?" Midoriya cupped the food carefully while stuttering. He kept his head down, staring at the gift.
"Yeah?" He cocked a brow up curiously seeing as he'd been pretty quiet and was now speaking.

"I just... I can't get this wrapped around m-my head. I don't really understand what's happening." I mean, how was he just supposed to go along with this so easily? He had so much at stake but then again he hadn't been explained anything.

He was just taken under a threat. And apparently this guy was an envoy of some sorts, he clearly had some wealth but where was he from? Why did he come here? Who was he exactly? Why do he pick him of all people..?

"I'll explain things later, I have other matters to sort. I'll answer all your questions, okay? Just relax, Kirishima will be outside the tent if you need anything. Just eat up and don't worry." Well, at least he was nice.. Midoriya nodded, slightly more comforted by the promise. He heard footsteps shuffle away and a small noise of the flap opening and flopping back down.

Maybe.. it wasn't that bad? I mean he had the lives of his village hanging over his head more severely than his father's threats but they seemed nice? The ones he'd interacted with seemed comfortable around Bakugou, seeing as despite he clearly was their boss. If he didn't treat his subordinates wrong, then he should be half decent, right?

Midoriya grabbed the string that wrapped around the cloth and tugged on it. He unwrapped it easily from there, finding a pleasant sight. Dried meat and a fine piece of bread. It was kind of exciting to see meat again as they had it occasionally.

The village separated the meat by families, one family get this amount and another then the next one family and another, and so on. It wasn't all that much meat either since there's more rabbits than boars. They had small rabbits and lived off of vegetables or bread more that meat.

He happily took a bite of the bread, wanting to save best for last. It wasn't the best tasting bread like back at home but it was good. He was thirsty though, hadn't had a drop since morning, before the second encounter.

Maybe he could ask Kirishima for some? It wasn't too much right? He didn't want to push his luck but Bakugou had said he wouldn't deprive him of basic needs.. Ugh! This sucked to overthink everything!

After being done with the bread with a side of a dilemma, he moved on to the mouth-watering dried meat. He dug his nails into the meat and stripped it off, it would be easier to eat instead of take a huge bite out of it and struggling. He took his sweet time savoring the salty meat, since salt was a luxury and very necessary to preserve foods.

Okay.. now time to ask for some water. No big deal. Not at all. He mustered up some courage to sit up and walk towards the tent flap. It's just some water. He pulled his hand in front of him, pushing the flap out of his way.

"H-Hey, Kirishima?" He called out quieter than he anticipated.
"Hey Midoriya, what do you need?" He turned towards the small omega.
"I was wondering if I could bother you to ask for some water?"
"Sure, no problem." Kirishima twisted to his right side, grabbing a pouch from his waist. He handed it towards him and Midoriya smiled gratefully. He popped the lid open and tipped his head, holding the heavy container with two hands. Wow, it was that easy?

After taking a satisfying amount, he wiped his mouth and handed it back.
"Thank you."
"Anytime." Kirishima lifted his hand up towards his head, causing Midoriya to cringe away. The alpha gave him a puzzled look.

"S-Sorry." The smaller framed apologized. Kirishima still looked confused but came to realize something? As if he remembered something.
"Nah I'm sorry, I should've been more considerate. It's just a habit of mine, ruffling people's hair. My mom used to do it all the time to me, guess it was passed on to me." He chuckled softly, reminiscing on the past with a look in his eye.

"I-Its fine, I'll just um, go back inside." He gave Kirishima a little smile and ducked back inside of the warmer inside. It didn't have a fire or anything so it was likely warm because of the outside. Either way, it was nice. It wasn't so unbearably hot that he'd sweat or anything.

Midoriya sat right back on the bed, wondering what to do with the cloth and string. Do they throw these away or something? He'll probably be bored out his mind while waiting so he grabbed the string and played around with it.

Thankfully, it was long so he could do more things with it. He twisted and held them between his fingers, looping them through each other and making a strange design. It didn't look like much, like anything, more like a bunch of tangled string. Hey, I never said he was any good at this. His mom taught him a little when he was younger, forgot most of it obviously.

"Damn, you must be pretty bored."
