The portrait is hanging proudly on the mantle. Mocking my pain...................................... I'm going to burn it. Bad is gleaming, his smile seeming to get bigger by the second.................................. Well, if it makes him happy then it's worth it (well at least they capture my mask essences). I look over at Skeppy, who playfully rolls his eyes at Bad's behavior before looking back at him again with a soft look. What a simp. I shake my head before pulling on my collar, why do royals always have to wear such annoying clothes. They're so uncomfortable, sure they look nice but they're annoying. I feel a tap on my shoulder, I turn to see George and Sapnap having a goofy smile on them. I glare at them.
"You two are a pain in my- um, rear end." I avoid saying ass (I don't want Bad to wash my mouth out with soap).
"Your "rear end"," Sapnap mocks, laughing along with George.
"Okay mister tough guy, I want you to say that word in front of my dad. He's only a few feet away from you." I challenge.
"Uhmmm, you know what. I am super tough and strong, but I think I'm going to respect Bad's rules. You know, out of respect." Sapnap stutters. That's what I thought bitch.
"Hah, as if you would cuss at Bad. I wouldn't dare to say a single cuss word to Bad, heck not even near the castle do I dare to say something he wouldn't like." George said, shivering a bit.
"You guys are lucky that you don't live here with him. I deal with this. EVERYDAY!" I cry.
"Feel bad for you bro," Sapnap said, patting my back.
"Yeah, that's rough buddy," George said.
"I know, thankfully I'm strong enough to survive this for many years," I pretend to shed a tear.
"Don't worry dude I'm here for you, I'm here for you." Sapnap said.
"Thanks dude," I said.
"No problem dude," Sapnap said.
"Okay you two stop saying dude a lot, it's weird and annoying." George interrupts.
"You're just jealous you don't have what we have. "counters Sapnap.
"Please," George rolls his eyes.
"Awwww, no need to be jealous, George. I will always have time for you." I coo
"Simp!" Sapnap yells.
"Shut up, I'm not a simp. Besides if anyone one of us is a simp, that person would be you." I grumble.
"Sure Dream, sure" Sapnap said.
I lightly push Sapnap away and walk over to Bad.
"Hey dad, since we're done with the portrait. Can I go hang out with Sapnap and George."
Bad scrunches his face with hesitation before letting out a sigh with a clam smile.
"Sure you can, as long as you promise to be 110% careful. You can't go outside this kingdom, stay in areas you know has guards, don't talk to strangers and-"
"Dad, you don't need to worry. I promise to be extra careful. You can trust me."
He shakes his head before smiling at me again.
"It's not that I don't trust you, it's the people out there I don't trust. I know there's good people but I also know that there are people out there who want to hurt others. I want to keep you safe."
I walk up to him and give him a hug.
"Dad, I know. It's okay. I'll be okay."
I feel him hug me back before releasing me.
