Chapter 2

Carter 

So today is the first day of school and I'm so nervous I'm on the bus with Taryn. Today is also the first day when I see Noah after the fight and that was about 2 months ago and I guess Ximenna went back to LSU last week. Noah never rides the bus his mom and dad always would drive him to school. It's so weird now that I think about it my parents before they practically disowned me always made me ride the bus they never drove me school. As the bus is going to school I see Noah and his parents in the car in the right lane. Noah immediately after seeing me puts his head down and just goes on his phone his parents don't even give me the decency of just giving a quick glance but I knew they knew that I was there. I just ignored them and had a conversation with Taryn about her volleyball and how excited she was. We finally get to the school after about 25 minutes and me and Taryn walk out I get a glimpse of Noah from the side of my eye. I didn't dare to give him a second look because of everything that happened but we don't talk about it.

My thoughts were interrupted when Taryn said "We have the same free period together at 4th class." She said excitedly. 

"Fun" I replied still think of Noah.

We just finished 6th period and now I have my own free period. Since I don't need to take Spanish since I'm fluent I just decided to go out side and listen to music on this huge tree that I've always liked to climb. I'm just sitting their when I see Noah talking to some random girl 

"Must me the girl of the week." I thought to myself since Noah has a new girl every Monday. 

Noah saw me staring so I looked away quickly then I saw the girl leave which I noticed was my friend Indigo leave. While Indigo was leave Noah started walking towards the tree I was in. I was trying to get out of the tree quickly because I didn't want to talk to him but right as I landed on the ground he was right in front of me. I looked at him wide eyed turned around and tried walking away but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.

"We need to talk." He told me while still holding my wrist. 

I replied more annoyed than angry "About what? We already told me how you felt and you obviously don't exactly like me. What are you gonna say your sorry and want me to come back to you house? Cause I can tell you right now I'm staying with Taryn they actually except and unlike some people they don't think their better than me. They think we're equal and they don't kick me out if I say something they don't exactly agree with but they will have a conversation with."

Wide eyed Noah replied "One it's our house no my house. Two I never acted like I was better than you. Three we did have a conversation about it."

"One your parents disowned so it is just you're and your parents house. You practically told me that you are better than me in every single way I can remember. And three we didn't have a conversation it was just you guys yelling at me telling me you guys don't like how I am and practically kicked me out of your family. 

Noah still speechless I didn't feel like talking to him anymore and I just walked away. I look behind me and Noah was just standing their head to the ground walking the opposite way of me. I go to the school for my 8th period and find Taryn talking to one of the boys all the girls fall for other than Noah. Come to find out it was Kaleb Noah's bestfriend I just walked over to them because they were talking were my locker was as well so I really had no choice.
