The Mysterious Book and the Secrets Within -Book 1-

Ch.3 •Welcome to Etheria•

I forgot today was Thursday and so I'm sorry if I'm a like 2 hours late because I was busy with writing the fourth chapter. Now finally the third chapter is out. I hope you enjoy I really tried and kinda came out how I wanted to but anyways it's done.

-Glimmer and Adora's dorm-

"So...What do we do now?" Glimmer asks leaning over Adora.
"Well, I guess we could open it and see what's inside." (I'm pretty sure there are letters printed in Adora) Bow opens the book where there's a little slip hanging out of it. "Um guys, there's nothing in it." Bow looks at us. "What do you mean 'there's nothing' it's a book. A book should have words right." Glimmer gives Biw the confused look. "Yeah it's a book but there's no words or anything in here." Bow shows us and flips through all the blank pages but Adora gave both Glimmer and Bow the 'what you mean' look to them.

"What?" They both ask in unison.

Adora was sure they aren't playing around so she speaks. "Are you guys messing around because I can see everything in that book?" "Wait what! You can see what it reads?" Glimmer comes close to Adora thinking if she's telling the truth. "I'm yes. I can see what the book reads." Adora trying to escape Glimmer bubble. "You really can, Adora?" Bow opens a random page and shows Adora. "Then read what this page says."

"It's says E-th-er-ia, Etheria" Adora struggling the words. Glimmer comes closer to Adora to get a better view of the book. "It says that! How come I can't see anything." "Okay Glimmer personal space please." As Adora says and moves away from her. "And yes, guys I can see what the book says but, for some reason it's not in English words at all."

"Wait it's not in English words at all? Then what language is it?" Bow asks Adora then puts the book down to see for himself. "I don't know the language but I'm not sure if it's a language." Adora putting her hand on her chin. "Well if it's not a language then how are you reading it? Here. Shows us what language it looks like." Bow grabs a paper and pencil for Adora to draw.

Adora draws what the language looks like. Bow and Glimmer thinking she's drawing lines and shapes but the more Adora drew the more it's becoming more like a language. "Here. This is what the language looks like and from the book." Bow and Glimmer had the same mind that this could have magic in it with Adora being the main character (Okay Bow and Glimmer read too many fantasy books...like a lot). "Okay, Adora read what this says." Glimmer grabs the book from Bow and showing Adora now. "It says Shera-" as Adora said those words the book itself started shaking and it was flowing making Glimmer dropping the book as we all head away from it.

The book suddenly opens and a beam of light shoots throughout of it causing the building to shake and suddenly pulling Adora in leaving Glimmer and Bow running towards Adora but the strong winds are pushing them back. As Adora was finally in the portal the book shuts and disappears as everything went white for a moment. Bow looks at Glimmer and both can't believe what just happened to their eyes. Seeing Adora gone with the book and leaving no trace of evidence behind.

"What just happened?" Bows shaky voice alerts Glimmer that she wasn't the only one seeing this. "I don't know Bow, but we need to head to the library Adora was saying."

Adora's POV

I woke up what felt like a Boulder hit me and realize that I was laying on the beach. I remembered seeing a bright light and seeing Glimmer and Bow trying to reach me. I got up and found the book in front of me so I picked it up and look around me to see if I can find someway.
