Ch.1 •The Best Friend Squad•

Adora rushes to get to her classroom because she overslept and was almost late to her math class so she ran to her class building which is about 5 blocks away from her.
Adora made it to her math class 15 seconds late after the tardy bell rang.

-Adora's POV-

"Adora, I see that you are late to my class again" the teacher says. I'm trying to catch my breath. "I'm so sorry Light Spinner...It won't happen again...I promise." "Mhmm. That will be a tardy if you were 20 seconds late...Don't do it again. Now you may have a seat I'll be teaching shortly." Light Spinner warns me.

I head to my seat next to my best friends. Bow and Glimmer.

"Now, don't tell me you overslept again" says Glimmer. I told a lie "I-no Glimmer I was stuck in traffic" "Adora, were in college there's NO traffic here" Bow tells Me. "Well sorry I stayed up late because I was busy again." I told them. "Adora again. If you keep doing this "busy" things of yours Light Spinner will have no choice but to give you detention for being late again, especially the best student in this class!" Glimmer shouts. "I know but it's only 15 seconds late so what else could happen." I looked at them both. "Adora the last time you were late you came to class 30 minutes late during a test. ON a test day!" Bow shouts at me. "Yeah and you still owe me for saving your ass and I HAD to come up with an excuse quickly." Glimmer crosses her arms.

"By telling Light Spinner and everyone my BUTT was stuck from the toilet and hungover in it. Glimmer I DON'T DRINK and you know that's impossible to happen plus it wasn't funny." I pointed my finger at her while Glimmer trying to hold her laugh "I know but for some reason it's always funny haha" I bang the table "Grr ITS NOT FUNNY!" Glimmer laughing. "Adora be quiet or Light Spinner will hear yo-" Bow trying to quiet Adora but Light Spinner interrupted.

"ADORA!" Light Spinner Shouted. "Quiet down or you'll get extra homework!" "W-what! Why me! It's Sparkles fault! Punish her instead!" I shouted while Glimmer stops her laugh from what I said. "Hey! I told you not to call me that name anymore!" Glimmer pulling my jacket. I tease her. "Aww why should I! I mean how come Bow gets to call you GlimGlim huh! Are you two like together or what-"

"Adora and Glimmer!" We stop yelling at each other. "You'll both get extra homework tonight and it will count as a grade due tomorrow! Glimmer if you keep this child behavior of yours, I will have no choice but to report this to your mother and you know what happens if you do." Light Spinner warns Glimmer.

Im trying to hold my laugh while Bow is trying to calm me down.

Light Spinner looks at me after telling Glimmer. "As goes the same for you, Adora." "Hehe-what?" I snorted. "Your parents wouldn't like either of these if you keep messing around during class and a note to your trainer will ruin your boxing career again."
"Sorry Light Spinner, It wont happen again" I apologize and looked at Glimmer who is already sleeping. Damn already. "Mhm, Bow make sure you keep them focused" She tells Bow.

I mean Light Spinner isn't wrong. My parents don't like it when they get a note from me if it's something bad I did. My mother will be fine with it and will help me through anything I'm having problems with...but my dad... he'll do more than getting mad, especially when he's in a bad mood. My mother will be scared around him if she stayed at home so she'll stay at her moms place.

-Bell Rings-

"Okay students I hope you'll have a wonderful summer break. I won't see you tomorrow as you'll all know there are no classes. Make sure you turned in your homework before tomorrow. It will be a 70 point grade!" She tells the students.

-In the Hallway-

"This is all your fault Adora!" Glimmer yells at me. "What do you mean it's my fault, you're the one who started it!" I yelled back "Guys stop fighting. It doesn't matter who started it plus this is our last 2-day together before summer break comes." We both stop fight when we realize that we won't see each other over the summer break. "Bows right. Once college is over we won't be able to see each other again. Adora you're going back to Razz's place for the whole summer. Bow your heading back to California and visit your dads and me...I'll be with my mom...staying here alone without you guys." Glimmer hugs herself.
