Chapter 1: Train Station, January 10
"Amy! Wake up!" I hear my friend say. I slowly open my eyes. "Hello Emily..." I say still tired. "You need to pack your bags!" She says "oh of course.." I try to get up but it's hard, I didn't sleep at all last night. Yesterday I got a call from my mother saying her and my dad both got covid... that really ruined me and Emily's slumber party. I need to pack my bags and take the train all the way to Brighton! I'm moving in with my brother Will so I won't get Covid like my parents. When I'm finally done packing Emily's mom makes me a sandwich and I'm on my way to the train station. I know walking takes longer but I think going for a walk is nice! I just listen to some music and vibe. When I finally arrive at the train station I check in and walk to my Perron. I need to wait because the train isn't here yet. I decide to just sit down on a bench next to the Perron.
After about 5 minutes a tall blonde haired boy with a lot of bags sits next to me. He looks at me and smiles. "Hi I'm Tom, do I know you?" He asks me. "I don't think so, I'm Amy" I tell him. "You remind me of my friend Wilbur!" He says looking at a picture in his phone. "That's him" he says pointing at a picture of him and Will! "That's my brother!" I tell him. "Wait, are you Amy?" He asks me. "Correct!" I say smiling. "Nice to finally meet you!" He says smiling back at me. "What are all the bags for?" I ask him. "Oh me and my friend Toby are moving in together!" He says very exited. "Cool! I'm moving to Brighton to move in with Will" I tell him. "Hey I'm also going to Brighton! Wanna sit next to each other on the train? I don't wanna sit alone.." he asks me. "Of course!" I tell him.
