Chapter 2: Will, January 10

Me and Tom get on the train and start talking. "So what do you do in your free time?" He asks me while opening a bag of chips. "I play Minecraft, and I like taking pictures" I tell him. "I also like playing Minecraft, I stream on twitch actually!" He says. "Really, doesn't Will also stream on there?" I ask him. "Yeah he does, do you watch his streams?" He asks me. "Not really, I watched if we find the bathtub the stream ends cause he talked about it when I talked to him on the phone" I say. "Do you and Wilbur talk a lot?" He asks me. "Not a lot, I mean we call every once in a while! And that's always fun!" I tell him smiling. "Me and Wilbur are actually going to play rust tomorrow, do you wanna join us?" He asks me. "Sounds fun! I think I have that game on my pc!" I say already exited.
After we talk for a while the train stops. "Hey, I think this is our stop!" Tom says. "Oh, yes" I say. I grab my backpack and walk to the exit of the train. "Should I drop you of at Wilbur's?" Tom asks me. "Sure!" I say smiling. "Should we go with the bus?" He asks me. "Sounds good, let's do that!" I tell him.
We walk to a nearby bus stop and sit down. "So why are you moving in with your brother?" Tom asks me. "Oh, my parents both have covid.. I actually was staying at a friends when a heard." I tell him. "Oh that must have sucked!" He says. "It did, but hey! I get to see Will again! And I met you!" I say smiling. "I guess that's true" he says and we chat for a bit.

Out of no where the bus arrives and the doors open. "Well, I think this is our bus!" I say while poking Tom's shoulder. "Probably!" Tom laughed. We both enter the bus and sit down. "You wanna listen to some music?" I ask Tom. "Yes, sounds nice!" He says. I grab my earbuds and give Tom one. "Do you have a song you want to listen to?" I ask him. "Not really, put something on that you like!" He says with a sweet smile. I decide to just shuffle my playlist.

"Ooh, I like this song!" I tell Tom. "You do?" He asks me. "Yes!!!" I tell him very exited.

If you feel lonely, I could be lonely with you

I look outside of the window and think about Will, I haven't seen him in a while... what if it's weird? We used to be so close!

Tell me baby, why do you seem so blue?

I try not to think about it cause I don't want to arrive looking sad, and I definitely don't want Tom to see me cry! He seems so nice and I think we could become great friends!

Why are we so complicated?

I try to suck it up and slowly rest my head on Tom's shoulder and play with the strings of my hoodie.

Maybe love is overrated

Me and Tom didn't really talk but it was nice! It felt like I had known him for years.

Me and Tom both listen to some more music and eventually we made it to Will's house. "Amy, we're here!" Tom says. "I saw!" I say exited to see my brother. I stand up and leave the bus with Tom following me. "Are you exited?" Tom asks me laughing. "Well of course I am!" I say laughing with him. We arrive at Wilbur's street and we look around trying to find Will's house. Then i see familiar brown curls in the distance. "WILL!!!" I yell. I can hear Tom laughing behind me. I run up to him and hug him from behind. "Amy?" He asks me. "Hi Will!" I say smiling at him. "You have grown since the last time I saw you!" He says smiling back at me. "Well of course I have!" I say laughing. "Wilbur!" I hear Tom yell behind me. I turn around and see him run up to us. "Tommy?" He asks me. "Yeah, we met at the train station!" I tell him. "Hey Tommy!" Will says smiling. "Why are you calling him Tommy? Isn't his name Tom?" I ask Will. "Yes his name is Tom, but online he's Tommy!" Will explains. "Tommy huh? That sound funny!" I say laughing. "Oh shut up!" Tom says giving me a light push.
