ZANE The Flip Side
EXT. NINJAGO CITY DOCKS - DAY
Open on a shot of Ninjago City Docks, which is full of lowly people trying to survive in Ninjago. Two thugs walk on the edge of the highly populated docks area next to the sea.
THUG 1 (sighs)I hate the docks.
THUG 2 Yeah, I get what you mean. Too many poor people like us squabbling and moving from one place to the next.
THUG 1 I don't mind all the people. It's just my seasickness that I can't deal with.
THUG 2 What? Seasick? We're only by water not actually on a boat you know?
THUG 1 Let me rephrase that: I'm sick of the sea. The sound the stupid waves make when they crash up against the docks, that inescapable smell of sea foam piercing through the air.He looks over the docks at the water.
THUG 1 (shivers)Makes the Desert of Doom sound like a paradise.
THUG 2 Huh? Guess we all have our irrational fears.
THUG 1 You wanna talk about irrational fears? You wouldn't help bomb Dragon's Palace just because you'd have to go to the top floor.
THUG 2 My fear of heights is perfectly rational! Besides, we both still helped Cunningham, just...from the ground.
NYA suddenly jumps down from a higher part of the docks in front of them.
NYA You two really did your group of thugs a service by talking about them in broad daylight.
The two thugs start backing up.
THUG 2 Hey, now we're not with Garmadon, ninja.
NYA I'm not worrying about Garmadon right now. I have some questions that you two might have the answers to.
The two thugs look at each other before dashing down the edge of the docks away from her. Nya holds her hand out to the water and uses her powers to take a huge ball of it out of the sea, right in front of the two thugs trying to escape. The ball of water collides into them, making them wash up drenched right next to Nya.
NYA What's Cunningham's next move?
THUG 2 We- we don't know anything. No plans no schemes nothing. As far as we know, after he went to prison the whole mob fell apart.
Nya lifts her hand up and another ball of water rises from the sea behind her. This frightens Thug 1.
NYA Really?
THUG 1 Okay, okay! A ton of Cunningham's supporters are planning a siege on Borg tower. Gonna bring Borg down from his skyscraper to our level.
NYA When?!
THUG 1 Today...
He looks to Thug 2 who has a cold but shocked expression.
THUG 1(to thug 2)What? Oh-(to Nya)Uh- Tomorrow, definitely not today.
NYA Is that all?
THUG 1 Yes! Just please leave us alone.
The ball of water drops back into the sea behind Nya. She clicks a button on her wrist.
NYA I'd be happy to.
Her cycle comes driving to her. She gets on and starts to drive away leaving the thugs sitting drenched.
