When Clay and Delaney were away from each other, they kept in touch by writing letters every two weeks. They would send each other pictures, sometimes of themselves, sometimes even just blurry photos of a dog, but it always made them happy to see what the other was doing, even if it's through a piece of inked paper littered with stickers.  They always kept the letters, even after they read them. They would even keep the envelope. They each had a box that they kept the letters in. It was their only piece of each other.

Delaney is Clay's younger sister. She has the same dad as Clay, and he was raised in America, but when she was only four months old, Laney went with her mom and was raised in Brighton, England. When she was 12, her mom died, so she moved in with Clay, their dad, his mom, and his sister, Drista.

Once Clay turned 18, he took Laney with him to live in an apartment together. Later on, he bought a house and they live there now. She is now 19, and Clay is 21. The siblings often stream together. She lived long enough in Britain that she would develop an accent, but also with clay long enough that they really feel like brother and sister, so much that he's overprotective.

Drista may only be Laney's half-sister, but they act like real siblings. She is only 14 at the moment, and that's partially why Clay and Laney didn't take her with them when they moved out. She would have been around 11 when they moved, and that wouldn't be wise. Laney was 16 at the time of the move. She was old enough to drive, and therefore, according to her dad and stepmom, was old enough to live with clay on their own.

Clay and Delaney live together in a mid-sized 4 bedroom house in Florida. Nick, one of Clay's best friends, lives with them in the spare bedroom.  They had since converted the fourth bedroom into Clay's 'Dream Room' where he often plays Minecraft and streams. The others stream as well, but 'he owns the house, so he gets the office'.

Delaney was whitelisted on the Dream SMP when it was first made, but she never joined or played, unless she wanted to mess with Clay or Nick while they were offline. She would sometimes steal their things and block them into tiny obsidian boxes. She thought it was hilarious that they always blamed it on someone on the server or even each other, and she would somehow never get caught.

[12-26-20 / 8:46 pm]

Clay was in the bathroom and Nick was making 'dinner' (aka ramen for the 5th time this week, even though he and Clay were quite literally rich). This was her time to shine. She quickly logged onto the server and gathered some obsidian from one of Dream's chests. Before she boxed him in, she looked down at the in-game chat.

Tommyinnit: who the fuck is laneybear666

Oh no.

LaneyBear666: your worst nightmare, buddy.

Tommyinnit: suuuuuure

Tommyinnit: oh wait, I recognize that name actually... are you in the discord server too?

LaneyBear666: maybeeeee

Tommyinnit: vc2

Tommyinnit: vc2

Tommyinnit: vc2

Tommyinnit: vc2

Tommyinnit: vc2

She clicked another tab that said 'Discord' on her computer and clicked the server he was talking about. She then connected her voice to 'vc2'.

"uh...Hello?" she said with a low voice, but her thick accent was still prominent.

"HELLOOO- wa- wait. A woman?" said a confused, squeaky, and loud voice.

"Yeah dumbass, could you not tell from my name?"

"oh."

"Wait, are you streaming?"

"uh yeah, why?"

"shit shit shit.... I uh... gotta go bye" Laney said, so quick that she jumbled her words.

She clicked out of the call, and out of the tab. She stopped for a second to box her brother in a dark cave of obsidian before quickly logging out of Minecraft as well.

She then got up from her pastel yellow desk chair and opened her door, to see Nick right in front of her, his hand still raised to knock. She carefully took the hot bowl out of his hands and walked past him, to the living room, and set the bowl down on the coffee table in front of the tv. She then plopped onto the couch and pat the seat next to her, signaling Nick to come sit with her. He did as he was silently told, and put on a movie for them to watch while waiting for her brother to finish up his stream. Soon enough, when the first movie ended, he came into the room and sat on the armchair next to the couch. They stayed like that until midnight. They had watched a few scary movies, as well as a few episodes of 'The Office' and 'Community'. They enjoyed each other's company.

Right when they all were about to go to bed, Delaney hears a ring. She picks up her phone. Facetime. It was Katie and Noah. Oh god, what did she do this time? She answered the phone.

(Noah, Delaney, Katie)

"Delaney! You Bastard!" an angry voice shouted. He was usually like this when he hadn't eaten in a few hours.

"Gee thanks Noah, hello to you too."

"Heyyyy I'm here too!" said a sweet voice. She had a slight southern accent, Delaney thought it was adorable.

"Oh yea, sorry Katie, Hiii!" Laney said, sweetly, trying her best to match her tone.

"Ok back to what we called you for."

"And what is that?"

"Dude I was watching Tommy's stream."

"And I was watching Tubbo's"

"and?"

"YOU MET TOMMYINNIT"

"Oh yea... kinda forgot about that part, haha."

"dude, you got so lucky in life. You're literally dream's sister. YOU L I V E with SAPNAP"

"I mean, yes, but we are also sorta-kinda famous."

"Shut it, Kate, I'm fanboy-ing here." Everyone laughed.

"Hey hey hey, no need to be rude to Katie, Noah." said Clay. Nick laughed at his sudden interruption.

"ohmyfuckingahhhhhh"

"did he- die?" Nick said, scared.

"no, no. don't worry. He's just really overdramatic sometimes."  Katie said, trying to pick Noah back up from the floor. They lived together in a small apartment.

"Oh ok good." said a now relieved Nick.

"Alright, guys. Imma go. It's kinda late here."  The only bad thing about living in Florida with Clay is that she left her friends in England.  Katie was originally from Tennessee, as was Noah, but they moved to Brighton in the 6th grade (year 7). They were 11 when they met, but they kept in touch almost the same way that Laney and Clay had kept in touch all those years ago, but they brought it into the 2000s. They often called each other, and sometimes wrote letters, but only for holidays and birthdays. They were best friends.

"Ok, Laney Bear, see ya tomorrow?"

"Of course, Katie Cat. See you." she smiled at the camera, and hung up.

Nick then asked for Katie's and Noah's numbers, "Just in case".

Once she got into her bed, all ready and dressed for sleep, she plugged in her phone on her nightstand and turned off her LED lights. She sighed and drifted off to sleep.
