9: after school

i turned around to see chase, he smiled at me and i smiled back, "sooo what do you wanna do?" he asked as we left class side by side
"whatever you wanna do" i said
"we could get donuts and then watch a movie?"
he said
"that sounds good, at your house or mine?"
"whatever you want" he said
"you can come to mine" i said smiling at him. we walked to the donut shop across from school together. i felt so safe with him. he held the door open for me and we both got donuts. he paid for mine and his(🥺). we walked up to my house, on the way we talked about how school was going. "is this where you live?!"
he asked while looking at my house
"yup" i laughed
"it's huge!"
we both walked in "you can sit on the couch" i told him "i'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick"
"okay!" he said sitting on the couch. i went to the bathroom quickly and then came out to see him on his phone texting someone. he probally is texting another girl, he probally has 50 girl who want him. i mean look at him who couldn't like him. i figured to just not think of it, i mean we weren't even dating or anything.
i sat down next to him on the couch and gave him a dorky smile as i turned on the TV, "what do you wanna watch?" i asked him
"whatever you want beautiful" he replied
he thinks i'm beautiful! that made me smile, i had butterflies in my stomach. i laughed and turned on stranger things, i had already seen it but tbh i didn't really know what to put on.
we were sitting down to eachother while binging stranger things, we were sharing a blanket and a bowl of popcorn. it was getting late and i was exhausted. i layed my head on chases shoulder and closed my eyes. a couple minutes went by and then he noticed i was practically asleep. i wasn't accually sleeping, i was just partially awake, in the stage where your like almost asleep but not if that makes sense. he leaned back a bit so i was more comfortable and pulled the blanket over my shoulder, he grabbed the remote and turned off the TV. he lightly kissed my forehead and layed down making sure i was comfortable. i had extreme butterflies.  he probally found it annoying that i practically just fell asleep on him, but i was too tired to get up.
