14: his parents

i got out of the car with oreo and my backpack and walked over to him and held his hand to the door. i was still in shock from the whole situation, i know chase could tell i'm still scared "everything's gonna be okay" he told me
"but what if that man comes here and..."
"y/n, i'll never let anyone hurt you i promise."
"thank you chase, you saved me" i said as i hugged him "and oreo"
he laughed and pet oreo. he held the door open for me, i saw his parent sitting on the couch and they looked over at me "oh hi! sorry i'm a mess we weren't really expecting company" she said
"no worries" i told her "i'm y/n"
"hello y/n lovely to meet you, that's my husband over there he's already asleep so i'll have to introduce you to him later"
i smiled
"so chase what happened? you left in a panic without telling us anything?" she said
"well someone was trying to break into y/n's house... and well they were gonna shoot her.." he said as he put his arm around me
"oh my goodness.. are your parent okay?" she said in complete shock
"their out of town" i told her
"oh my, we'll that must have been so scary darling, i'll let you get some rest..."
"thank you ms.hudson" i said as she went back to her place on the couch. chase directed me to his room "you can sleep on the bed if you want, i'll sleep on the ground" he said as he threw a pillow and some blankets on the ground for himself. i layed down in the bed and tucked myself in. chase gave me a forehead kiss before laying on the ground. butterflies omg. i was so in shock from what just happened, i'm so thankful for chase. but what if that man found me again... what if he did something even worse. "hey c-chase" i said
"yes y/n?"
"i'm sorry if this sounds weird but can you come sleep up here"
"of course beautiful"
he got up and cuddled me. he was big spoon i was tiny spoon. he softly held my hand. i suddenly felt a drift of fear flood over me, not from chase of course, but from the situation that just happened. i couldn't sleep at all, i was just in shock. then i realized i has totally forgot to tell my parents. i need to tell them, what if they come home early. "chase" i said hoping he was still awake
"yes?"
"i forgot to tell my parents..."
"oh shoot, do you wanna call them?"
"yeah, just in case" i said as i sat up and grabbed my phone from his nightstand and called them
"hey sweetheart, it's so late why are you up?" she asked
"well mom, someone tried to break into the house, they wanted to hurt me, i don't know if the got in but i'm safe and i'm not their anymore, i also grabbed your most valuable stuff" i told her
"omg my baby are you sure you are okay? how'd you get out? did you get the puppy? where are you? are you alone? did..."
"mom.. mom i'm fine" i said inerupting her "i'm at my friend chases house, he picked me up and i'm probally gonna stay here for a while, he said you can come stay here too if you need"
"are his parents okay with that? tell him i say thank you for saving my baby"
"his parents are fine with it, and i will mom"
"i love you sweetie please stay safe" she said
"okay i will, i love you too" i said then she hung up "thanks for helping me chase" i said as i hugged him randomly.
"anything for the person who makes me happiest" he said. AHHH i'm the person who makes him happiest. butterflies to the max rn. "are you having trouble sleeping?" he asked noticing that i was not tired
"a little bit" i said
"don't worry, me too, wanna watch a movie?" he asked
"yes!" i told him as he grabbed the remote and turned on a movie. he leaned back and i layed my head on his chest. what are we? do people who are just friends cuddle eachother? idk. i got up and grabbed my phone, when i layed back down he lightly grabbed me again and wrapped his arms around my waist. he was big spoon and i was little spoon again. oreo was down by our feet at the bottom of the bed laying down. "if i ever make you feel uncomfortable please tell me" he said
"you dont" i told him "you make me feel safe"
he laughed and kissed my forehead. i was getting really tired. i started to text my group chat to tell everyone what just happened before i went to bed, nick and eva are probally asleep but at least anna will be up.
