Rejoined with the Warblers

Hello to everybody who has been reading Rejoined with the Warblers. 

I don't want to have to be writing this rn, but I think it's necessary. I am not quitting writing this book, so don't freak out. It is too close to my heart as both my most liked book and my first published fanfic. 

I know I have never been good at updating on a schedule. The undiagnosed ADHD makes it hard for inspiration to strike and for me to sit and write without inspiration. I am not trying to use my disability as an excuse but as a reason. 

I am not quitting this book, I promise, but updates will be far and few between. 

Now onto the true reason I won't be updating much. I don't feel as if the show has accurately portrayed the characters and it makes it hard for me to watch them. It feels as if the shows are much darker than the comics, and the characters have different motivations. It's hard for me to watch them seeing as I got into the fandom from the FLASH 1st and 2nd seasons. They were funny and it felt to me that they had some sort of rhythm to them, the newer episodes have no rhythm nor do I feel the comedy hits right. 

I'm sorry if some of you are hardcore fans of the show, I just can't continue to watch it. 

Since I don't watch or keep up with the show nothing I write here will be congruent to the newer seasons. I also haven't even gotten to the part in GLEE where Sebastian enters. 

GLEE isn't something I watch often, nor is it a show I actually like. The Sebastian is Barry fandom feels welcoming and I love the stories created in it, they are such a safe space for me and I hope my story can be a safe space for anyone else. 

I know that none of this seems to connect with me not writing as much on this story but if any of you write you will know that writing fanfic is something that feels like it should be right. It's hard for me to write things when I don't have all the information, so needing to look up information on characters feels fake. 

Seeing as I don't watch the show I don't have any of the newer information on characters such as Iris, or Caitlyn, even Cisco. I have no idea what's going on with them, nor would I care if I wasn't trying to write them.

So...

TL;DR: I won't be updating this often because I am unable to draw proper inspiration from the source material. 

Thank you guys for understanding (I mean, I hope you understand or this will be a bit awkward)

Anyway, rant over. Get on with your lives.
