Chapter 13 : The Dragon and his Master pt 4

Deku had his arms wrapped tightly around The Dragon Master as they flew through the air. His crippling fear of heights making him terrified to let go.

"You keep your arms on me and I'll push you off." The Dragon Master said in annoyance.

"S-SORRY!" Deku said letting go. He tried to hold onto the dragon like The Dragon Master was doing. He didn't have time to fully take it in though because the Dragon Master turned around.

"Can i see your sword?" He asked. He was sitting cross legged, facing him.

"S-sure!" Deku stuttered, "But shouldn't you be looking where you're going..?"

"Done this a lot of times," The Dragon Master retorted, "Nothing ever happened"

"Ok then..."

Deku took his sword out of his sheath and handed it to the Dragon Master.

The Dragon Master traced his hand along the blade. His eyes glinted with curiosity

"Where'd you get it?" he asked.

"I found it-"

"What magic can it do?"

"I-i've never really done anything else other than what i did back there so i'm not sure..."

"Do you know who it belonged to?"

"Yeah it was All Might!"

"You mean that old legend?"

"He's not a legend! I saw him in person!"

The Dragon Master's eyes widened in amazement. He looked back at the sword and grinned, "Cool.."

Deku smiled. The Dragon Master thought he was cool!

The Dragon Masters grinn disappeared, and looked Deku in the eyes

"Uh, is there..." he started, "..any chance i could use this? Just for a bit?"

"Sorry...it's for magic blooded users. And i don't think you-"

"Ah," The Dragon Master handed Deku back his sword, "It's fine...you're still cool i guess."

"T-THANK YOU!"

"Your yelling-"

"S-sorry about that..."

The Dragon Master went over the plan with Deku, "So you're gonna do that magic blast thing with a sword to the other guards."

"Do you really think I can handle all that by myself?"

"Nope. That's why i have this-!"

The Dragon Master took out a curved sword. It was smaller, yet sharper than Deku's.

"Where did you get that?" Deku asked.

"I stole it."

"Really?! Was it hard?"

"Not really actually-"

"Can you tell me about it?!"

Deku's eyes glistened with fascination. He also had a big grin on his face.

The Dragon Master would be lying if he wasn't a little creeped out.

"Uh...later...?"

"YES!"

"Again your yelling-"

"S-sorry...again! Hehe"

Crap now he thinks i'm weird! Deku. paranoia filled him. He had to break the ice fast before this became the most awkward dragon ride ever. Finally he decided to ask questions about him.
