Chapter 24.75: Growing Flames

"Ooooh~ what kind of treat?" Nejire asked excitedly.

Bakugo opned his eyes. 

"Well the way you said makes it seem like I'm a dog, but I do love treats! Do you have and mooncake? Or fluffy Marsh-munchies? Or Chocolate Berry pudding mountains?? I absolutely looooove chocolate berry pudding mountains- especially with some delicious jasmine tea!!" 

"N-Nejire..?" Bakugo asked still in shock, "you...you're back to normal!?"

"That would be uninteresting," Nejire said in an uninterested tone.

"Eh?!" 

"Just kidding~!" Nejire said smiling, "I'm back to normal! Teehee!" 

"That's great 'n all... But can you... I don't know... GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME!?"

"Oh, sure!" Nejire said smiling, "But from what it looks like now, you under some sort of paralyzing spell- I have just the flower for that! But where's Prince Shoto?"

"He's got your satchel..." 

Nejire turned to Todoroki who was lying on the ground next to her satchel. She quickly got off of Bakugo and walked over to him. 

"Are you ok Todoroki? She asked, crouching. 

Todoroki blinked. His 30 seconds were up.

"Agh...." Todoroki said, slowly sitting up, "Nejire...?"

"That's my name!" Nejire said with a smile.

"But then... where's Bakugo...?" 

"Over here," Bakugo answered sarcastically, "Alive- yet still 'paralyzed'" 

"That's nice," Todoroki said to himself. 

It is, isn't it? By the number you picked, he should be dead.

"Prince Shoto..." Nejire said, while searching through her satchel, "I'd like to thank you and Bakugo...for helping me! I really appreciate, you know, not you guys trying to kill me or anything! Hehe..." 

Nejire took out a white flower, walked over, and placed the flower in Bakugo's hair. 

Bakugo felt his limbs get loose and eventually was able to move them. 

"I was planning on killing you actually," Bakugo said, sitting up, "It was Halfie who wanted to talk it out with you..." 

"Really?" Nejire asked turning to Todoroki.

Todoroki turned away from her nervously, "i-it was nothing..." 

Nejire smiled at Todoroki. She was glad he didn't give up on her when deep down she'd give up on herself if she were in the situation. 

"Well enough of that!" she said, "Let's get to the plan I was talking about earlier! I have a plan that'll stop Rikiya, and guarantee our victory! It might be a little tricky considering we don't have the prince's pendant anymore, but if we work together, we'll definitely succeed! So who's with me?"

"Me I guess," Bakugo said, "how about you Halfie?" 

"Sounds uninteresting," Todoroki said, with an uninterested look. 

"Shit." Bakugo said and the same time as Nejire saying "Crud," 

"Hehehheheh..." Rikiya cackled quietly. 

While Nejire had been talking about the plan she came up with, he had sent a wave of his magic at the three. There happened to be a chunk of rubble in front of Nejire and Bakugo, so they remained unaffected- but that wasn't the case for Todoroki.
