"Alexander Mercer!"
"Oh god," the blondes eyes widened considerably as he jumped up from the couch and scrambled to get behind it. Luke and Reggie watched with amused expressions as Julie looked towards the yell with a confused expression.
"Who is that?" She asked.
"Alex's step sister," Luke said, popping a piece of popcorn into his mouth. He had almost forgotten that Julie was relatively new to their group and this was her first time at Alex's house.
"Why didn't I know that he had a sister?" She asked, flinching at a loud crash that came from upstairs.
"He talks about her all the time," Reggie said. "Y/n."
"Oh," Julie drew out the realization as a girl came stomping down the stairs. She was wearing one of her fathers tee shirts, the material encasing her body almost completely, the sleeves dropping to her elbows and the seam falling just above her knees.
"Where is he?" She asked, hands on her hips.
"What'd he do?" Reggie asked with a light laugh.
"The little brat told my dad that I was out all Friday night," she said.
"It was revenge for telling my mom that I spent Thursday night with Willie!" Alex shouted from behind the couch. Y/n pounced from her spot towards the couch, but Reggie was used to this. He stood up, grabbing her around the waist and holding her back as Alex scrambled back over the couch.
"That was revenge for telling your mom I wasn't a virgin and forcing me through that painfully awkward sex talk!" She yelled.
Well that was revenge for telling your dad that Willie and I did it!" Alex threw back.
"That was an accident!"
"He made me watch a documentary about gay sex!"
"At least he didn't demonstrate with a banana and a poor, poor doughnut!"
"Okay, time out!" Reggie shouted over them.
"See what you did!" Y/n shouted as Reggie forced her onto the bottom step of the stairs, smiling fondly as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Alex," Luke said, pointing to the fireplace step.
"I didn't-"
"Alex," Reggie repeated. The blonde huffed as he sat down, crossing his arms over his chest.
"So, you don't get along that well?" Julie asked after a moment of silence.
"She's my favorite person in the world," Alex said with an angry pout.
"Yeah, Alex is my best friend," Y/n rolled her eyes.
"They have a very weird relationship," Luke said, shoving more popcorn into his mouth.
"Wait, Reggie," Julie looked over at the brunette with a confused draw of her eyebrows. "Isn't your girlfriends name Y/n?" She asked.
"Yes it is," Reggie reached down and placed his hand on Y/n's head, brushing down along her hair.
"Don't touch me, you just put me in time out," Y/n pouted, though she leaned into his touch.
"Okay, so I didn't know that Alex had a step sister and that step sister is Reggie's girlfriend," Julie sighed.
"Nice to meet you," Y/n smiled, waving from the stairs.
"It's nice to meet you too, I've heard so much about you," Julie smiled.
"Alright children, are we going to be nice to each other?" Luke asked, looking between Y/n and Alex.
"Fine," Alex muttered. "Sorry for telling your dad about Friday, it was an accident."
"Sorry for telling your mom about Willie," Y/n said, standing from the step.
"Truce?" Alex offered, holding his hand out.
"Truce," Y/n smiled. They did a very intricate handshake that Luke and Reggie have never been able to replicate.
"So Julie, how has been working with the boys?" Y/n asked, throwing herself into conversation with the girl as she sat on the couch, draping her legs over Reggie's lap.
