Haechan is known as SM High school's bad boy, while Renjun is the complete opposite.
Renjun being the loser seems to be very interesting to Haechan since all he does is to pick on Renjun, but that changes when Renjun's old friend comes back to SMTow...
I was on my way to school, Yangyang couldn't come to school today because he was sick. Whenever he was sick when we were little I wouldn't show up either because the kids would bully me when Yangyang wasn't there. But here in highschool, I have Chenle, Jisung, Jeno, and Jaemin so I'm going to be fine, plus Haechan hasn't bullied me in a long time.
My first class is history, I love the subject and also because taeyong sunseng is teaching. He's the kind teacher that listens to people's problems and taking good care of the students.
I walked inside the classroom and there wasn't anyone in there yet. I sat up front and took my notes out of my bag. After 10 minutes when our class was about to start all of the students rushed inside the classroom. I still don't understand why people don't come in earlier and prepare for the lesson?
"Good morning students, how are you feeling today?" Taeyong sunseng asked us.
"Good morning Sunsengnim" The students including me replied.
"Today we're going to learn about the second world war, does anyone know anything about the second world war?" taeyong sunseng asked us.
I raised my hand because I knew a bit.
"yes Renjunssi?" Taeyong to me.
"The second world war started because of Adolf Hitler" I responded.
"that is correct, do you know which people he aimed for?" he asked me.
"Wasn't it the jews, the people in the LGBT community, and the disabled people?" I replied.
"Yes! and the reason why he wanted them to vanish was that he thought of them as unworthy of life" taeyong sunseng continued.
The lesson was over quite fast today, I packed my bag and was on my way to the cafeteria.
"Renjun here" Jaemin waved his hand. I walked towards them and sat at the table.
"Where is Yangyang ge?" Chenle asked me.
"Ya can't you even say hi to me before you ask about Yangyang?" I asked him annoyed.
"Oh hi there Renjun, may I ask you where our best friend Yangyang is?" Chenle asked me sarcastically.
"It's Renjun ge, and he is sick" I responded.
"Aww too bad I wanted to play games with him today" He replied.
"So what's going on nomin couple?" I teased Jeno and Jaemin. They both rolled their eyes.
"So anything new about you know who?" Jeno asked me.
"No, he hasn't texted me yet" I looked down. Maybe they were right, maybe he just toyed with me.
"Come on cheer up we're going to buy icecream after school" Jamien pat my back.
"I need to use the bathroom real quick" I smiled at Jaemin assuring him that I'm okay.
I was about to walk inside the bathroom hall when I noticed Haechan talking with Lucas, Mark, and Hendery.
"the best part is that he really thinks I'm into him" Haechan laughed.
Were they talking about me?
"Ha, what an idiot" Lucas replied.
"yeah, he even thought I would kiss him" Haechan continued telling them everything that happened between us without mentioning all of the things he did to me.
I couldn't believe my ears, they were right he was just pranking me. I ran as fast as I could to the forest near our school.
I sat down on the grass just thinking about what had happened.

Why was my heart aching so bad? Why did it hurt so much to hear him say all of those things about me? Who was I fooling trying to create a typical love story between the bully and the nerd?
Without realizing it I was now crying, the tears wouldn't stop, and the worst part was that I didn't even date Haechan to get my heart broken.

Haechan's POV:
I was in the bathroom hall with Hendery, Lucas, and Mark hyung.
"Haechan is something going on between you and that nerd?" Lucas raised his eyebrow.
"Oh, you mean shrimpy? Of course not" I laughed it off. Honestly, I wasn't ready to tell them that I liked Renjun. I knew they would call me a loser and stop hanging out with me. So yes I lied to them and I feel really bad about it. Thank god Renjun isn't here to hear it or else he wouldn't for sure talk to me again.
"But lately we've noticed that you spend a lot of time with him?" Mark replied.
"That's because he's my tutor, if I don't pass this semester I have to repeat the year and I don't want that so I'm just using him," I responded hoping that they would believe me.
"Oh, that's why" Mark nodded his head. I knew they weren't convinced enough so I continued.
"The best part is that he really thinks I'm into him" I fake laughed.
"Ha, what an idiot" Lucas replied.
"Yeah, he even thought I would kiss him" I continued, I told them about the things Renjun had said and they believed me, little did I forget to mention that I was starting everything with him, I was trying to kiss him, I was trying to hug him, I was trying to spend time with him.
I am officially an asshole but what Renjun doesn't know doesn't hurt him right? At least they didn't ask about him when he was around or else I would lose my chance with him.
