Tori Goes Bad

Chapter 2

(Sikowitz's class)

"Okay, class!" He spoke to his students. "I have a box with me with your names on it. Each of you will pick a card. There you will be assigned a project for the class which I will explain once each is selected." He said and all the students. "Jade, you first!" He called out and the goth got off her seat and head on stage to pull out a card and reads the name. "Uh...Andre." She called out. Andre felt surprised that he is partnered with Jade but knows that she will do a great job. Sikowitz pulls out Jade's name on the card out from the box and hands it to Andre. "Okay. Jade and Andre." Sikowitz writes on his clipboard. "Robbie, your next." He called out and the ventriloquist goes up and pulls out a card. "Cat." He called out and the red-headed jumped for joy. Sikowitz pulls out Robbie's name from the box and hands it to Cat. "Cat and Robbie. Who didn't see that?" Sikowitz said as he writes their names together. "Beck. Come on up." He called out as the young actor goes up and pulls out a card. "Tori." He called out and Tori felt relieved that she is partnered with her friend. Sikowitz pulls Beck's name out of the box and hands it to Tori.

After everyone got their partners selected, Sikowitz place down the empty box and looks at his students. "Okay. Now, for your assignment, each of you must pick a scene from either a play, a musical or even an iconic scene but it must have two characters. And it must be at least PG or PG-13." Sikowitz instructed. "So, do we notify you what scene we're doing?" Andre asked him. "Yes. Either email me or let me know during school hours." He answered to the young musician. "And how long does the scene have to be?" Tori asked next. "At least more than a minute. If it's a scene from a Shakespeare play, let me know what play it is and what scene you're doing. Other than that, make sure it is appropriate since we're in a high school." Sikowitz answered. All the class nod in agreement. "Excellent, and with that, let's begin the lesson for today." Sikowitz said and got up to give today's lesson.

(An hour later)

The 4 teens walked out of class. "So, what are you and Andre gonna do, babe?" Tori asked her girlfriend. "I don't know. I'll think about it with him and we'll go from there." Jade answered. "Sound good. Let's meet at the Black Box after school." Andre suggested. "Sounds good." Jade replied. "So, Tor. What do you want to do?" Beck asked his friend/partner. "Well, why don't we do a scene from either Hamlet, MacBeth or Romeo & Juliet?" Tori suggested. "Those are too common in a project. How about something like A Midsummer's Night Dream or The Crucible or something in that nature?" Beck suggested as well. "I'll think about it." Tori answered. "Well, I'll see you guys at lunch. Got choir next." Tori said and left Jade's arm. "Do well, my songbird." Jade tells her girlfriend. Tori smiled and kiss Jade on the cheek. "Always from my Angel of Darkness." Tori left the group.

Jade looks at the boys. "What?" Jade snapped at them. "Ever since you've been dating Tori, you have gotten more soft on everyone around you and her." Beck said. "No, I haven't." Jade said defensively. "Come on, Jade. Admit it." Beck said teasing. Jade just blushed and looked away. "I knew it. You have gotten soft." Andre said. She snapped her head to his view. "NO, I HAVE NOT!!" Jade shouted. "Beside, there are times I wish she was like me a little." Jade said. Both boys looked shocked. "You don't mean it, do you?" Andre asked her. "I don't know. I got to get to class." Jade answered and strutted off. "Tori act more like Jade? That's a scary image." Beck commented. Andre nodded and they both split to their separate classes thinking of an idea goth Tori Vega but decided to push it aside.
