CHAPTER 4
Ty was a awakened by a big thud in the back of the trailer. "Amy?....AMY?" "What do you want?"
"Wow!" Ty said laughing. "I was actually awake first and I had to wake you up! You know I'm pretty proud of m-"
"Ty, be quiet do you hear that?!"
"Oh no I think they are unlocking the door, where do we hide?!"
Ty and Amy looked frantically around the little tack room for a place to hide before the door opened!
"What are we going to do with these horses anyway?"
"Don't be so dumb Mike we are going to sell them in Mexico."
"Why Mexico?"
" Because if we sell them there then there will be hardly any chance that the owners will find them."
"Well how much are they really worth?"
"It doesn't matter what they are really worth we are going to sell them each for $20,000."
"That much?!" "Wow!!"
Amy looked at Ty in shock. They had to get the horses out of here and themselves but they had no clue where they were, they could be just 10 minutes from Heartland or over 100 miles away.
