CHAPTER 5
"Ty I have a plan." "okay, well whatever it is, some part of it better involve us not being seen when that door opens!" Ty whispered.
"Mike?" "did you hear voices a few seconds ago?" "All I hear is us being rich, I can hear the money!! WOOHOO, we gonna be rich Todd!!" Ty and Amy stared at each other, barely breathing. Ty could see the fear in Amy's eyes. He had to come up with something, FAST!! "I'm not talking about the money, you dumby. I heard something like someone talking....." "Ah forget it Todd, lets go get some breakfast at that nice diner down on Night Train, you know what I'm talking about? I could go for one of them bacon taco burrito things you know?" "Yes I know what you mean, but we got to be back here by 10 sharp because that auction starts at noon."
Amy and Ty felt the trailer unhitch from the truck and they heard the truck slowly pull away. As soon as it was quiet, Ty opened the door and helped Amy out. To their horror they were two huge corrals full of horses.
"oh my god Ty!" "what are we going to do?" Amy said. Ty looked around for someway to get the horses out while Amy looked for Spartan and the others. She was so horrified, some of the horses in the corrals had cuts and rashes and a few of them looked so sick Amy began to feel sick to her stomach. Suddenly one of the horses got spooked and before Amy could even turn around the horse kicked her in the back. She fell forward and hit her head on the corral gate with a loud clang!
