~It was nearly the end of Practice and without Hinata attending that day it was way quieter, except for Nishinoya and Tanaka's random loud chants to cheer everyone on~
Kageyama POV~
Thank god it's almost the end of practice I'm
sooo hungry.
"that's it guys, nice work!" Daichi exclaimed smiling
i just nodded and ran to get my stuff; it was around 5 minutes after, when i was walking out the doors i started to hear a small voice
"psst...psst..Kageyama..."
and then i saw him peeping around the corner of the gym.
"Hinata what are you doing here? it's like 7pm you should be resting idiot."
I slowly started to walk towards him, then when i was near enough he grabbed me and pulled me closer
"what's up dumbass" i quietly said trying to stay calm
he's like 2 inches away from my face...
"nothing really idiot" he grinned while whispering
idiot? since when did he call me that
"don't call me idiot." I mumbled
"then don't call me dumbass!" he replied laughing
"sorry it suits you i guess.." I whispered in response smirking
Hinata playfully frowned at me
"also what are we doing here?" I asked
"I wanted to say.. uh...thank you...for..." Hinata stopped
"yes?" I asked edging him on.
"I wanted to say thank you for helping me!" he finally exclaimed
Hinata was now intensely looking at me, we're still so close to each other... his hazel eyes so close to mine. It feels nice being so near him...
I leant over and close to his ear and whispered
"Your welcome"
his eyes instantly widened in surprise for a second, after the initial shock i could see a grin start to spread across his face
"Get a room." Tsukkishima muttered whilst walking past us
I was so surprised I lost my balance and fell, taking hinata with me.
"ugh" me and hinata grunted together.
for i second i didn't realise the postition we were in, until everything eventually clicked and the thought suddenly appeared in my mind; i was on top of hinata!
i scrambled to my feat and helped Hinata up, he looked like he'd seen a ghost...
"tch." Was Tsukkishima's final remark before he walked away.
leaving both me and Hinata frozen in place
