Everyone was changing after practice; all still a little shocked after hinata's insane hits that day, so the room had a pretty quiet atmosphere
Kageyama POV~
What do I say to him on the way home? Do I compliment him? Do I just ignore it? I'll just let him talk like he always does and see what happens.
I looked over at hinata changing, he looks so happy and woah, he's definitely gained muscle over these last couple months...
"Uh kageyama..." Hinata said hesitantly.
I looked up and realised I've been starring at hinata changing for about 5 minutes now, I can feel my face is heating up. OH GOD what do I say?
"Yes?" I said
"Are you okay? you've kinda been starring at me for a while" he said questioningly
"I'm fine stupid." i replied, although Im a bit confused as to why I was looking at him that long too.
~awkward pause~
"Okay! Then let's go!" Hinata finally said cheerfully. He then practically skipped out of the changing room
On the way back hinata kept talking about his crazy spike earlier (as I expected) but that's okay. I don't mind listening to him talk unless he says something annoying, which happens a lot.... so I guess I do mind a some of the time.
"Hey kageyama" hinata suddenly said after he finally stopped rambling about how great he played today
"Yeah?.." i slowly replied
"I want you to keep setting for me" he stopped walking and looked at me straight in the eyes
"Well Ofcourse im gonna keep setting for you how are we going to win tournaments if there's no setter? dumbass" I finshed harshly
"No that's not what I meant" hinata stepped closer to me, what the hell is he doing? and what is he talking about? He's so stupid. I'm gonna have to set to him or we'll never be able to win any games!
"I want you to always be my setter" he said quietly after pausing for a bit
Huh? what the hell did he just say?
always be his setter.. That's just crazy, he wants me to always be with him?
"You know that's probably impossible" I said raising an eyebrow
It looks like his face just dropped for a second, he seems a little hurt.
"Oh I know, it would just be cool that's all."
I didn't say anything after that.
"We'll see ya tomorrow kageyama"
"Bye.." I wonder if he actually meant what he said about always wanting me to be, his.
