"it's my mom"

I went to work today to find out that hotch had a private assignment to work on and that Luke Alvez is working with us to find the 13 people who escaped from prison and with his help we got it down to 8. Most of them went off the grid but i mean who wouldn't so it was a slow day this morning.

"hey spence you think today's the day serial killers take a day off"

"maybe but you know you could have walked past 17 serial killers in your life but you just wouldn't know"

"well we've walked past a bunch of them lemme tell you that"

"yea" he says with a breathy laugh

"you think we could take the day off since we finished our paperwork too"

"yea but watch something pop up"

*ring**ring*

"i swear if you just jinxed us"

"lets hope not"

"wait it's my moms clinic" i say while picking up the phone

"Alex Rossi"

"wait what happened"

"um yea gimme about three hours"

"thank you for telling me" i say while ending the phone call

"uh spence i gotta go tell rossi or hotch i don't care who but i need to take the day off it's my mom"

"yea yea tell me what happens"

"yea i'll update you from the clinic i might even have you talk to her she loves. she might even love you mom than me"

"thats impossible"

"not true but anyways i gotta get on the next flight out to new york bye I love you"

I rush out of the bau and search up tickets for the earliest flight to new york and to be honest i'm scared because they told me that she ran out of the clinic demanding that they bring bella here because she think they kidnapped her and that she's still alive. I mean i understand that with everything with bella's birthday coming up but she was never like that. I rush home and pack enough clothes for 2 weeks and i rush out of my apartment and get a cab to the airport. After my flight i rent a hotel for the night and i get a cab to my mom's clinic. After they buzz me in i find my mom's nurse who i talked to on the phone

"hey so um how is she doing now"

"better we got her to calm down but she keeps insisting that you and your team investigate bella's kidnapping"

"i'm so sorry about all of the trouble i caused you"

"no no it's ok we see this everyday with other patients"

"still you should get a raise as a matter of fact here you go i say pulling out $150"

"oh no i couldn't do that i mean you have your own things to pay for bills,rent, medicine i can't possibly take that"

"no i insist i mean you must also have bills to pay so think of this as a headstart on your paycheck and your here taking care of my mom when you could be taking care of your family i own you big time"

"i- thank you so much"

"no problem Angie" i say as i walk away and make my way towards my mom

"hey mom"

"Alex thank god you're here they have bella but they won't let me see her"

"mom bella died 10 years ago she was 5 remember she was supposed to turn 15 in a week and a half"
