tsukki opened the doors revealing a gym full of boys in their gym uniforms playing volleyball.
'agh here we go' you thought
when they heard the doors open all of them stopped to look at you.
awkward.
then suddenly a certain orange haired boy ran up to you and screamed, "YYY/NNNNN"
he basically tackled you into a hug.
you just stood there sort of surprised.
"uh ha. ha. um and who are you?"
"IM HINATA OF COURSE!!" he said.
"OH WAIT RIGHT, MY USERNAME IS TANGERINE ON DISCORD!!"
orange hair? makes sense
"hinata!! keep the volume down it's still pretty early" a guy with short-ish black hair said, he seemed older and more mature than the others.
he walked up to the two of you, "hi you can call me daichi, i'm the captin. oh and im dead man on discord."
"why dead man?" you asked moving your head to the side in confusion.
"um... long story. anyways coach should be here any minute, so you can just sit on the benches and when he gets here we can all introduce ourselves."
"ok that's fine i guess" you said making your way to sit where daichi had directed you.
"alright everyone get back to practicing!!" the captin ordered

daichi was right, in just a few minutes a tall blonde man walked into the gym with a shorter black-haired man following behind him.
as he walked in everyone started to gather around him.
tsukishima signaled for you to get up and come stand next to him, so you did.
"good morning everyone" he said, "and welcome ms. tsukishima"
he looked in your direction then continued, "as you can all see we have a guest today, so let's be on our a-games. i'd also like for all of you to introduce yourselves. of course i'll start, you can call me coach ukai."
"let's continue on the far left" he said pointing to the end of the lined-up kids
"oh u-uh hi, i'm hitoka yaichi" a small blonde girl said, then bowed.
'awe she's cute' you thought
"hi! my names kiyoko shimizu, me and yaichi are the two managers" she gave a soft smile.
"welcome! i'm koshi sugawara, it's a pleasure to meet you" he also seemed really nice.
"h-hi, i'm a-asahi azumane"
you were surprised to see such a tuff looking guy act so shy
"hey there! i'm yu nishinoya! nice to finally meet you"
"and i'm ryunosuke tanka! great to meet you!"
"i'm hisashi narita!"
"chikara enoshita"
"kazuhito narita, welcome!"
"tobio kageyama" a blue eyed boy said, then bowed.
"I'M SHOYO HINATA!!! EXCITED TO GET TO KNOW YOU!" the once again very loud orange boy said.
"andd you've already met daichi, i also understand you know yamaguchi so that'll be enough for introductions, boys get on the court !!" ukai blew his whistle and called for the boys to start warming up.
you were about to head back to your spot on the bench, still wondering why you were even here in the first place and hoping you secretly could maybe get a bit of sleep.
but just as you took your first step, you heard someone call your name
"wait y/n! could you come here for a second" ukai called you over.
"oh sure"
"alrighty so i'm sure you're curious as to why i invited you to our practice today."
'oh so it was his idea' you thought
"well, yeah" you responded
"i know you used to play volleyball at your old school, so, for now why don't you just... observe a couple of our practices and tell me what you think. sound good?"
'well there goes my plan to sleep through this thing'
"sure, sounds good" you responded with a quick (fake) smile.
and so there you sat all throughout their two hour practice at 5 in the morning.
in all honesty you thought you'd hate it, but it actually wasn't too bad...
it was entertaining to watch, it sorta amazed you how the team played together
asahi's powerful serves
noya's quick saves
especially hinata and kageyama's quick attack.
that was definitely something you wish you could try out.
anyways, even your stinky ol' brothers blocks were pretty good
their dynamic together was definitely something different.
kinda made you wish you could be down there playing with them...
it really did suck that the girls team at karasuno was so bad it got disbanded.
i mean it's not like you didn't give it a chance, but during your first few days in the team you were so bored to the point you almost fell asleep while waiting for one of the girls to serve.
the girls themselves were actually really nice, just that they weren't exactly... your level.
that's why you decided to go to fukurodani, that team was much much better, you missed it so much.
you even made friends with some guys on the boys team, you missed them too...
but alas, now you were back here.
no volleyball, no guys, no friends (or so you thought ;))
